the game uses ports 7000-7500
if any of the ports tested timed out then something is blocking the ports
(firewall, antivirus/ router, ISP yuour ISP routing partner etc)
good readings would have values 300-500 in column 1 and 3 and around 20 for column 2. if less then something is delaying or filtering the packets.
if it is the ISP causing the problem only fix is to contact them to see if they will give the game packets higher priority and or open the ports needed.
of you can try one of the proxies in the launcher option window. that will help some people (and they are getting new proxy software to improve the performance of the proxies and they are a little over worked)
I have had the same issue since the very beginning of the head start area and haven't had anyone have any answers. i was hoping having the hard disk would solve it today when i picked it up from the store, but it hassent been any better.
the difference is my launcher crashes after trying to start up. any ideas why?

Also, as I said in another thread, it isn't Cryptic's fault. A server at Cogent has not been fixed, and that's something Cryptic has no control over. All the devs can do is wait patiently until Cogent gets their s*** in order.
