Lifetime Subscription Sweepstakes Winners! (August 29, 2008)

A few weeks ago, we announced that five lucky members of the Star Trek Online community would receive copies of STO and lifetime subscriptions to the game. We had more than 18,000 entries, and are pleased to announce the winners!

    This is jacked. Of the 5 who won. Only 2 have posted. 2 have never made any posts and according the the user search function 1 is an invalid user.

    Knew I wasn't going to win. Would have been nice to actually see some names I see around the forums though.

    Congrats to the 2 who have at least posted.

    When I first got the email, I thought it was a scam. Couple quick PM's with Razor and it turned out to be a very good day. :D

    Onward now to continue the good fight of a strict Canon game.

    Actually I expected as much. Still don't like it. Think it should have gone to people who posted, and that have a VALID user id.

    Grats to the winners! I didn't expect that we "forum babies" would win the day, and I'm kind of glad that the random selection included _everyone_ who entered, and not just forumites.

    Probably a good thing I didn't win. Any semblance of life I now hold would disappear if I knew I could play STO forever, for free. In having to pay the game's monthly fee, it ensures, at least, that I'll leave the house once in a while! :D

    I am very much excited about being selected :D I have been following the game for sometime now and based on reading the forums each day, it looks like STO will have a great group of players out there. Hey, just because I do not post, that does not mean I have not followed and read up on STO. Thank you again, Cryptic!! I am VERY much looking forward to the release of the game.
