Unable to Establish Connection to Patch Server

Greetings. Steam user here. I can't connect to the game anymore....when I attempt to activate the Launcher through Steam, it cannot connect to the Patch server and therefore I cannot launch the game. Wanted to let someone in Tech know that there appears to be a problem....I'm assuming it's connected to changes made, since I had no problem connecting to STO yesterday.
