I have an Epic Prize Token that I got from a pack. I have all the ships so I can't use the token for anything. Can you unlock these so I can least get a ship upgrade token for it?
Any Epic Prize Token that comes from a Phoenix Pack has the option to be 'downgraded' at the bottom of the list of ships for 2 Ultra Rare tokens.
The Epic Prize Token that came from the "Demon Hunting" event earlier in the year, can only be used to buy a ship.
Those of us that have been around long enough to have all the ships, found that this prize from that event, was ultimately useless.

Agreed. Should either put more ships in epic or release the abilty to downgrade it. Or even use it to buy an ultimate tech upgrade.

Aye, I'd like to see something made available too, but the problem is that almost everything we might want to have as an option, will have a knock-on effect on the economy of the game - especially with regards to Dilithium.
There was some discussion of this back in one of the discussion threads about the event. Alas, I cannot find it now.

If no new ships are going to be added, it might be nice to enable the prize pack epic tokens to be sold on the Exchange, so veteran players can get something for them. And newer players have an additional, easier way to catch up on obtaining the old event ships if they want to.
Everyone would still buy Phoenix Packs for the upgrades, so I can't see it causing too many ripples on the dil exchange.
Just for clarification. This did not come from a phoenix pack. It was from a legendary bundle.
Are you sure about that? I may be wrong, but as far as I remember none of the Legendary bundles include an Epic Phoenix token. Could you mean a Mudd's Choice bundle instead, as many of them do?

There was one or two that did have an epic phoenix token included iirc. I don't remember which one(s), but I think it was sometime last year around this time. The Legendary Dominion bugship had a ton of mostly useless junk tacked on so it might have been that one, but that is just a guess since I don't keep track of inevitably unaffordable Legendries beyond reading the initial announcements.

Well... the Bugship is actually the cheepest of the Legendaries I think at 9k...
Ok its the Mirror Gal-X that is the cheepest at 6k according to the wiki.
(I can't check prices in game because I got them already.)

I seriously considered getting the Legendary bugship for my faux-Vorta when it first came out at 4.5k though even that would have been a tremendous strain on my budget, but between the cost and the way the wording sounds like only a horneytoad can buy it (which I don't have) I didn't get it (it is 5.85k during the current sale btw) and even if the package was buyable paying 4.5k for nothing but a single ship is too steep to consider (the add explicitly mentioned only a J'H can open the bloatware box that comes with the ship).
I might end up using the epic phoenix token on one of my Vortas on the phoenix store bugship, but I haven't decided yet since I already have the vanguard temporal warship and the Rex (though some more variety would be nice).

Legendary Bugship is worth it IMO. Its an amazing little pilot escort. I think the Alliance Rex is the only ship that matches it really.

I skipped that event because I have all the T6 event ships and the T5 Breen pair, and wasn't up for the grind for whatever the other rewards were.
I'm sitting on 2-3 Phoenix epics (too lazy to look) in the hope that someday I can either get something better than 2 common as dirt URs or can gift or sell them to someone who can use them for ships.
considering as far I know you can't update any T5 ships into T6 they probably didn't want to make an exception here.
There is no way to upgrade a ship from T5 to T6. The closest you can get is T5UX I believe. However most T5s do have a T6 variant as a separate ship with access to the T5 parts.
Actually, T5-X2 is the highest you can go, but it takes one additional step (T5 > T5-U > T5-X > T5-X2). The main difference between T5-X2 and T6-X2 is just that T5s don't unlock a ship trait (but T5-X2 still has six ship trait slots you can use)

Spent countless keys opening boxes to get it, only for them to come up with another T6 version, rather than letting us upgrade the original.
