"Acquire Ships / New Ship Requisiton" screen reverts variants back to the top of the list.

Accessing the "Acquire Ships" person at Earth Space Dock, and selecting a ship to purchase which include variants - Trying to view a variant results in the display of the variant class being reverted to whatever is at the top of the list after 2-10 second. I have sent this information to support for review, they asked me to make a forum post.

This effected all ships I tried to view with variants:

Cruiser > Constitution Refit > Select Excaliber from drop down > 2 seconds later automatically reverts to Constitution Refit without any user input.

The "Cruiser" has "Constitution Refit" as it's default skin.
No matter what skin you choose at the Ship Vendor, all ships they supply will always be sold in their default state.

Actually, a number of the alternate appearances need to be bought in the cstore, but that wasn't the OP's point.

I can confirm that the ship preview window at the ship vendor is bugged the way the OP describes, and it is very annoying when trying to decide on a ship when the display keeps switching back to the default hull before even a full rotation of the alternate hull under consideration happens. Space Barbie does not only extend to characters, many people consider the look of the ship too.
