Unable to Access Summer Resort on Risa

in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
Greetings. I have seven characters, all except one are sixty-five. Five of them can access the Summer Resort on Risa and two cannot. The most recent ones are a Federation Delta Recruit at level 10 and another is a KDF Recruit at level 65. Included are pictures of the issue.bc5wllfo9kwt.png

    I apologize. It appears that only one, the Federation character on the bottom, cannot access the Summer Resort, while the one on top, the KDF character, cannot access Classic Resort.

    This is intended.
    Way back before the Summer Event was implemented, only Federation characters had access to Risa - mainly due to it being in Federation space.
    When the Lohlunat Festival was implemented, they designed a whole new map and made it available to all.

    As for you Federation character, have you completed the mission "The Galaxy at Large"?
    If not, try again after completion.

    The mission The Galaxy at Large is a crapshoot at best, it very often fails to unlock all that it should from the hilariously misnamed "available" tab.

    KDF characters gain access to Classic Risa when they raise their Marauding rank to 3. Do some Marauding DOFF missions to level that up.

    It works just fine and correctly unlocks what it's supposed to. Some folks forget where to look for some of the things it unlocks.

    Last I checked, (which admittedly was a while ago, so it is possible they finally fixed it), I still have characters who have done The Galaxy at Large but don't have access to something(s) at random on the list, and I have talked to others in the same boat.

    I am not an avid completionist though so after a few unsuccessful rounds of tickets years ago I simply ignore anything I cannot get to since I don't have the time or patience to kick that dead horse anymore nowadays, and I have so many alts that worrying about it is a moot point since if there is some pressing reason to do one (like getting nostalgic and wanting to do the only TOS episode that feels like TOS in the main part of the game, Spectres), I can simply switch to one of many alts who can do it.

    I'd be happy to help you figure things out but I'd need to see your Mission Journal "Episodes" and "Available" tabs in their entirety.
    That's potentially a lot of screenshots or a video which can be very tiresome to perform on multiple characters.
    Up to you - the offer's there...

    If I get the time to chase them down, sure. I am a bit of an altaholic though so at last count I had thirty-six characters and I think I added a few since then, so just finding the bugged ones is probably going to be a slog in of itself.
