Hey folks!

So Massively Overpowered clued me into this "Delete Alt Control" event which should go live after the downtime.

https://www.playstartrekonline.com/en/news/article/11569124

Thing is, my characters are federation Science guys, but not really even near mid-level? I'm currently reinstalling using the PC Arc installer while the downtime is ongoing.

I was wondering if anyone could walk me through how to do the Episodes/Task Force Ops needed for daily completion, including what I'd need to be level-wise to do this, and how to access the specific things mentioned within the news bulletin?

I'm just a little overwhelmed-slash-lost, since it's been a while.

Advice very much welcome

Event TFOs are on default normal difficulty for maximum accessability for all players to be able to participate. I think minimum you'd have to be lv 10 to participate in an event TFO. Joining the queue for an Event TFO, you will be scaled up to match so the only thing you'd be lacking is the higher level abilities and number of weapons and stats you'd get from being a higher level, but still fully capable of participating.
For episodes, the game scales the NPCs to your level, so it really doesn't matter what level you are.

Depending on how well you are geared, both ground and space, I would say try out the episodes, but if they are too much you might want to stay with guillotine, the space tfo, or the new ground, borg battle royale, which will probably be the go to for me

Hello, I play on PC and here's what I do..

    1) Click on the mission journal button beside your mini-map (marked with red arrow) or press J to open. Your mini-map is in the upper right hand corner.

    2) Select the event tab (marked in red) on the top of the mission journal.

    3) Select one of the missions or TFO's (marked in red) to play and get your daily progress.

I think @rattler2 is correct about level 10 being the minimum rank required to participate. I was able to bring the event tab window up on a level 25 character.

Most players will do one of the TFO's each day for their progress as they only take 15-20 minutes or so. I wouldn't be worried about the difficulty as by default event TFO's are only available on normal difficulty.

Collect your rewards via the same tab in your mission journal after playing the required number of days, May 28-June 27.

No need for a walk through.. just have fun

The minimum level is definitely ten, though occasionally I have gotten in at slightly lower level as long as the tutorial itself is done.

The Event window says level 10 but this is a leftover piece of text from a bygone era.

The only requirement to being able to participate is to have completed your faction tutorial.

In the case of Romulan Republic, Dominion, TOS and Discovery characters, they each need to be fully allied to their chosen faction. For those four factions, this basically works out somewhere around level 10-12.

For 2409 Starfleet and KDF characters this can be as low as level 3.
