It seems like a patched-in solution because the Freedom-class is obviously missing from the bundle. Maybe they had to replace it?

With the Tier 5 Adapted Destroyer in my inventory the Tier 6 version is not icing on the cake for me.
While i can understand the Borg Themed promo ship, this feels like a backup plan for the original Parliament Class.
Even though i am interested in some ships, i am unsure if my hand will reach my proverbial wallet for this bundle.
Let's wait if this is everything and what else will be included in the Bundle.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I don't know about that honestly. HOWEVER the existence of the Kelvin Timeline Heavy Destroyer, which is a single nacelle ship, kinda debunks that a bit too. I know Gene Roddenberry once said that nacelles MUST be in pairs, which got shot down with the inclusion of the Freedom class wreck in TNG. Also some of the alien ships that didn't even HAVE visible nacelles.
With threads like these, it would be nice if a link to an article were included in the opening post.
I checked the News page, and the only bundle-related thing I'm seeing is a link to an older post on X, containing a short video that only has Federation ships in it.
On the basis of the aesthetics, I'm leaning towards just getting the Cheyenne and Springfield, but the stats, fluff and price will all play parts in the eventual decision.

My guess would be that the Freedom class is unique enough that it has been singled out for a different distribution method, probably one of the lockboxs.
Even if the console and warp core is made usable on all ships the Adapted Destroyer is a bit ,,, meh.

Tried to give a positive spin on the inclusion of the adapted destroyer, but truthfully it just does not tickle my fancy,
Got the tier 5 version a long time ago for RP purposes and once it was unpacked it made a LOT of sense why they were very cheap on the exchange.
If the developers stick with this choice promo ship, i hope they at least make the consoles and warp core available on other ships. A 4 piece bonus with an old space set would be a nice gesture.

The Tal shier? Sort of out left field...
Really though its one of the worst infinity box ships in the game. IF it was in a mudd bundle it would be a rare mudd pack ship I would consider skipping.
Hopefully the stats on the main ships are good... if there isn't any stand outs this would be the only ann bundle I might just skip.

No its not meh. Its garbage.
It really is probably the worst ship in the infinity box that isn't in a mudd bundle already.
As someone who doesn't care about role play factor at all... the main ships are giong ot have to have very nice stats and be useable. Or this will be the fist bundle I skip.

The thing is that the tier 6 Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer is an ancient ship with an awful layout, consoles and warp core only usable on Tal Shiar ships and a trait which combines CRF to a minute EPG boost + regular cloak. No battlecloak or enhanced battlecloak.
If they used the Adapted Battlecruiser at least one could say it was based upon the classic D'D.

I know. High road is always a good way to go.
I just thought I would be blunt. Even when it was new in 2017 it was a bad ship... in the current game flying that thing would be a down grade from probably 90% of the T5-U ships. Even if they unlock the core and console... who cares.
There was at least one bundle in the past when they got some what are you thinking push back they adjusted the bundle. I doubt they do that this time... but I sort of hope they do. I was more then ready to buy this bundle. With this inclusion though, I'm more likely to just buy the stand out ship in the bundle (assuming their is one) with a T6 Coupon.
Probably fits the theme as its adapted BORG tech. And it follows the pattern of including an OLDER lockbox ship in the Anniversary Bundle that has been established for a couple years. The first Mirror bundle included the Mirror Engle, second one the Mirror Crossfield and Styx. The only other Borg tech we got is the Liberated Borg Juggernaut and the much more recent Assimilator. But again the Adapted Destroyer is far older than those two.
Someone on Facebook suggested the Sagan and Parliament, but again the Adapted Destroyer is far older.
With respect, I'm not sure that argument stands up to scrutiny.
- The Mirror Engle was released on December 13th 2018. It was then part of the 12th Anniversary Bundle released on February 17th 2022, a gap of 4 years, 2 months.
- The Mirror Crossfield was released on March 21st 2019. It was then part of the 13th Anniversary Bundle released on February 16th 2023, a gap of 3 years, 11 months.
- The Mirror Styx was released on January 23rd 2019. It was then part of the 13th Anniversary Bundle released on February 16th 2023, a gap of 4 years, 1 month.
It seems pretty clear that the precedent of the last few years is for the Anniversary Bundle to include a lockbox ship that's somewhere about four years old, not the seven years old that the Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer is.
Ironically, if they had stuck to the precedent they could have used the Liberated Borg Command Juggernaut, which was released 4 years and a little under one month ago.

That would have made more sense. I assume however they want to save the good borg stuff for a mudd bundle.
The Liberated Borg Command Juggernaut is already in a Mudd's Bundle: Mudd's As Seen on TNG

For me, the Engle was the clincher for buying the 12th Anniversary bundle, and the Styx for the 13th.
As yet there's no sign of any exclusive bundle ship or item that would tempt me. The Parliament wouldn't change that if it was added. At this stage, depending on the stats, more likely I'll pick up the most appealing individual ships with T6 coupons and give the rest of the bundle a miss.
The Liberated Borg Command Juggernaut is already in a Mudd's Bundle: Mudd's As Seen on TNG
That might not be something consumers latch onto when the Lafayette was already included in a cross faction bundle and the Constellation is included in the Picard bundle. The distinction is that it's a recent Mudd bundle but drawing the line there vs. Picard (similar price points, recently pushed) seems a little arbitrary to excluding what's arguably the best possible choice of lock box theme ships. If this was going to be a deal breaker for Cryptic, they should have picked a different theme for the Mudd TNG bundle. From past insights, their ship schedule would very likely have extended as far as the 14th anniversary when it was released. They stumbled here in, at the very least, a lack of adequate planning.
The Adapted Destroyer is also a lobi ship, marking it as the *least* impactful premium ship to be included in the anniversary bundles so far. The Styx, Mirror Engle, and Mirror Crossfield have come from lock boxes and promo packs, which per going exchange rates are much less accessible than lobi ships. The 12th and 13th anniversary bundles also included premium skins for the Engle and Crossfield ships, adding value to the premium ship offering beyond the account unlock.
I was planning to get the full bundle this year, but today's announcement (including no Freedom class or PCU Nebula) have all but shelved that. And I could really use the Adapted Destroyer, and probably appreciate it's inclusion more than nearly any other player. It's just a weak offering when it comes to offering a large quantity of real money for this stuff, per one primed to look at this particular bundle favorably. They could throw another ship in (as they did for the 13th anniversary bundle) or significantly reduce the price. But we shouldn't be in this situation in the first place after the 13th anniversary bundle needed corrections on the exact same problem this bundle has (underwhelming, unexpected premium ship).
Beyond trying to salvage interest for those expressing disappointment, there needs to be a re-evaluation of ship planning and bundle selection. These are simple issues that have compounded into repeat problems that could have significant economic costs at a time when Cryptic needed a win to rebuild consumer confidence/enthusiasm after a very rocky 2023.

Well... we still don't know about the extras in the bundle, like potential costume parts. Honestly don't know what costume they could include, but I am eager to find out.

Jurati's Borg Queen outfit would be my guess if they continue the pattern. It's *elaborate* though and the character art team is eternally strapped for time, so I wouldn't be surprised if they give ground costumes a miss this year and go for a new assimilated Borg ship vanity item/set.
Also if Cryptic's looking for an appropriately themed TNG ship with Borg connections to throw into the bundle at the last moment: World Razer (given that its in Picard season 2). It's relatively new but an effort needs to be made here to spice things up, IMO. An excess of parsimony is not the look Cryptic wants to be projecting to the community ATM.

People are rightfully concerned about the Mandukar being here for no reason and I'm here, wondering what a Constellation, an already-existing T3 DILITHIUM ship is doing here, adding to the price.

Ya that's right with the husnock. I forgot about that completely.
But on right right of the image there is clearly room for two something else's so here hoping that something good gets dropped.
