Wrist fired weapons...

toddjohnson100toddjohnson100 Member Posts: 166 Arc User
One of my character outfits is skin tight armor that makes my guy look a bit like a cyborg. I like to use repulsor burst, micro photon torpedo, chroniton torpedo burst, and chain conduit capacitor because they fire from the wrist and look very Iron Man / Mandalorian. Can anyone think of any other weapons / kit modules that fire from the wrist or look like cybernetic enhancements? I do also LOVE the mind meld device because "engage" acts very much like a cybernetic enhancement. Thanks for any input.

My knowledge of ground isn't the best but offhand this comes to mind

You're right. That's another one...another one I need to try.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

O.K., I didn't realize they had a Mirror Universe version of that suite of weapons.

There's also the Altimid Plasma ground weapons, which look like a gauntlet type weapon. It is a bit awkward but it does emulate a wrist mounted weapon.
There's also the Courier Antiproton weapons. Some of which look a bit like a Buster from Megaman with how they're designed.

Had to resort to the old wiki for the Altamid Plasma because for some reason the current wiki is displaying Elachi weapons instead of Altamid Plasma.

There is a possible caveat to using the Fluidic Lance as a weapon built into an armor suit, it is huge and sits on the character's back like a backpack when not in use. Think of Hellboy's rock fist or the transdimentional box Valarian had his hand stuck in in the Valarian and Lauraline movie (or actually a bit bigger than those).

Other than size though it is a nice weapon and the beam it produces looks impressive and definitely fit for a superhero style. If you are playing it as self-reconfiguring armor like some of Iron Man's later suits that size might not be a problem.

There is not much in the way of wrist weapons in STO, I have a couple of Romulan characters I translated from characters I had in the FASA tabletop rpg so I have been looking for something that would work (visually at least) for the wrist disruptor from that and have not had much luck so far. So far Kumaarke's is the best for the Romulan one despite firing the lightning blasts instead of a beam.

there is a cold based wrist torpedo too. micro cryonic warhead, also a manual for your boffs for even more iceball fun. and if you are not limiting to the wrist the cryo visor blast is kinda cool (pun intended)
