    This bug appears to be back. I have been running the event TFO for the extra marks today and noticed that my dilith take has progressively getting larger than it should. The timer is working, but it appears repeated playthroughs on the same toon are registering for the daily reward.

    @majorcharvenak I've split your comment off from the previous discussion. In the future if you accidentally post in the wrong place and need to split a comment off, tag one of us moderators and we can assist with that.

    With that said, just to make sure I'm understanding the issue correctly. You're going into the TFO on a toon and playing and getting credit as you should for that day if your run is up. If you go into the TFO again it's registering the daily dil as having cycled around again. In other words, your bonus dil should be on the day 1 scaling, but the repeated run is treating it as day 2. That essentially the basics of it?

    Thank you @darkbladejk for the instructions on how remedy that posting problem in the future.

    Yes. That is what is happening. I do repeated runs of Resistance of Starbase 1 for the extra marks, but earlier today I noticed that was getting much bigger payouts of dilith than I should. As I mentioned, the event timer for reset is still counting down, but each time I queue up for, and complete a new run, the dilith payout includes the ever-increasing bonus dilithum (as if each playthrough counts as a new day). As fun as that is, I would very much like to keep things 'above board' and simply earn my standard dilith for the run and the one-time daily bonus for that day. Thanks again for your assistance with this matter.

    I confirm the "problem" as well. I wanted to collect some more marks and repeated the TFO, at some point I noticed that my dilithium was rapidly increasing.

    I do not think it is an good idea to exploit this bug. Everyone actually knows that this is not how it should work.

    It is actually no challenge to find out who has earned X amount of dil and what he has done for it. Database queries are usually all you need to do this. They can also find out who was afk during a TFO.

    Agreed. They should be able adjust. I just got done running it twice today as I thought/hoped it might have been fixed. Suffice to say, I'm just going to forego my marks runs in the Event TFOs until I get the go ahead/patch that it's safe.

    Be nice if cryptic patched this one tomorrow. I like to run Guillotine for the mark boxes... and its the first decent TFO we have gotten in ages. I don't however want to get bonked on the head by Cryptic for earning more then I was supposed to.

    I seem to be getting the opposite problem. I just completed the Resistance of Starbase One mission and didn't get any dilithium reward. I did this on the same day as I completed the 20th run - it used to be that you could do this, and the UI pre mission was showing me as not having done the dilithium mission, and after the mission it was showing that I had done the mission - But I got no reward.

    Here's the log of my rewards from the appropriate chat window:

    It reads .... Captains, there is an issue with the Borg Tesseract event, and to solve it we are briefly turning off the ability to earn bonus Dilithium from the event. This will be fixed in an maintenance soon, at which point we'll turn bonus Dil back on.

    Damn, I did the daily task unnecessarily, because now I did just get 480 dil instead of 11000... "awesome" :s

    I feel you. Had the same thing happen to me today but I am relieved they are fixing the problem and the loss of a day or two's worth of dilith isn't worth the issue this bug was/is causing. We still should've several days left for the event after the patch drops. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    It is working now (as intended) after the servers came back up with today's patch. Ran my event daily earlier (and received the bonus) and follow up runs for the extra marks netted the correct amount of dilith for the run only. Thank you for the fix.
