ISE BUGGED

Me and a few people tried to do Infected: The Conduit (Elite) and we killed all the Borg ship in the center then went left then the far right but the shield around the gate did not go down. @ambassadorkael#6946 please look into this thank you

    The shields of the gate never came down.

    I've played Conduit on several toons tonight and there were no issues. Strnage.

    It is broken on elite not sure about advance or normal. the shield on the gate will not drop

    They have also broken a perfectly good TFO in Kitomer Vortex as well. So fix 1 thing broken 2 things.

    I know theres already multiple postings on this issue but this one has additional critical findings that I did not see in other threads, along with more details for each of them, not to mention the other threads does not really accurately emphasize on how disastrous the recent patch has been.

    The incursion update made the "no shield on transformer and generator" bug amplified on infected conduit and was happening too often it made the random infected conduit matches easily abusable.
    Post last patch from 21/9/2023, it has fixed that issue but has also spawned a plethora of other critical issues.

    For infected conduit:
    - there is now a very high chance (in my test so far its basically every time), that at least 1 of the transformer will not be regenerated in health by the nanite generators.
    - mission objectives does not update appropriately upon killing the starting wave of enemies, causing possibility to bug out the map (made un-completable / map does not progress) if certain enemies are killed before others.
    For khitomer vortex:
    - shields no longer drop at all on khitomer vortex after killing the initial cube on the nanite generators on the transformer, this does not prevent mission completion but will prevent borg reinforcement (eg. the assimilator/cube and sphere from spawning once a few nanite generators are killed.)
    - similar to the infected conduit, nanite generators don't regenerate the transformers health at all now, this is the reason why the khitomer vortex map is still completable as the transformers are easily killable as they don't regenerate in health now.

    First part of the video showcases that only by killing 4 generators, and specifically 4 generators belonging to either of one side (going over to the other side and killing the other generators will not count) will get the mission objective to update in ISA. The mission objective by right should be updated as seen in the image below:

    The "destroy alpha transformer", "destroy beta transformer" objectives used to appear once the starting group of enemies is dead, it now no longer does.
    I've tested and it also happens to ISE as well as can be seen in the image below:

    This creates the possibility of the transformer dying (especially with the issue of hull not regenerating on transformer, which you can also see in the first video part on the right transformer) before all 4 generators are killed easy to encounter, and thus easily not giving the objective transformer kill count, leading to the map bugging out.
    2nd part of the video showcases after I have killed everything, shields will not drop on gateway as the objective to count the transformer kill does not count as it was killed before the objective appeared.
    3rd part of the video shows the nanite generator no longer healing the right transformer at all while the right one does, and moving over to the right transformer, it shows what normal transformer regenerating is like.
    I have tested entering the ISA map 10 times and shooting each of the transformer after killing the initial wave to see if it regenerates:

    1.L and R no regen
    2.R no regen
    3.L and R no regen
    4.L no regen
    5.L and R no regen
    6.L and R no regen
    7.L and R no regen
    8.L and R no regen
    9.L and R no regen
    10.L and R no regen

    There is not once in that 10 try where both transformer were regenerating, at least one will not regenerate. The rates are extremely bad.
    Trying a few tries on ISE gets a similar result. This issue is constantly happening to khitomer vortex transformers as well.
    This issue alone and its current severity is disastrous that will not be explained here but in the last of my comments in my post: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/comment/13752038

    4th part of the video showcases after killing the starting cube, the shields on all generators will no longer drop, I have tested this many times on khitomer normal, its assumed its an issue for all other difficulties similarly.

    5th part of the video showcases that you can kill the transformer in khitomer vortex easily with no regeneration from generators, and no additional reinforcements on each transformer happens, and all transformers has no regenerations.
    I have tested this multiple times in khitomer normal and all transformers have no regenerations and all generators will remain shielded post initial cube kill.

    As explained in the mentioned post linked above, the biggest issue is the transformer no longer regenerating hull for infected conduit, and if not fixed fast is likely going to kill off what remains of anyone's interest in the DPS scene. And will also make this the last bug report that I will submit.

    I want to correct a few things after further findings:

    The "destroy alpha transformer", "destroy beta transformer" doesn't appear even before the incursion update after killing the initial wave, however it would still seem to be active "behind the scene"; killing the transformer before all 4 generator is killed still granted you the objective count.

    The objectives after killing initial wave won't have those alpha and beta trafo yet.

    Above screenshot showing if you pause right when 4 generator on 1 side is dead, the "destroy alpha transformer", "destroy beta transformer" now appears and you can see it immediately counted the alpha transformer as it was destroyed earlier. You can also see that once beta transformer is destroyed, gateway shields drop as per normal, mission objectives are updated, tac cube spawn etc. Unlike as shown in the initial the bug report, what would happen at this point would be gateway shield not dropping and mission getting stuck.

    Post 12/10/2023 patch:

    The "destroy alpha and beta" transformer objectives now appear when initial wave is killed, I've tested and for that issue it's fine now, you should not be getting stuck where gateway shields will not drop even if transformers are killed before generators.

    Shields drops on generators consistently now in khitomer vortex after initial cube is killed.

    Regeneration of transformer is still an issue for both infected conduit and khitomer; transformers on both maps sometimes do not regen, the rate to encounter no regeneration is still very high as tested:

    ISA
    1. L and R no regen
    2. R no regen
    3. L and R no regen
    4. Both regenerating
    5. L no regen
    6. L and R no regen
    7. L and R no regen
    8. L no regen
    9. L no regen
