Star Trek Online will have PC maintenance tomorrow, 7/27, at 7am PT. Estimated downtime is 2.5 hours. You can find the patch notes here:

    Resolved an issue that caused some Vaadwaur NPCs to appear as Support Drones.

    Good to see this being resolved.

    I wasn't even aware of the existence of the advanced torpedoes. Thought they were just regular ones. :o

    A two gigabyte download for a half-dozen tweaks? What else is going on with this gigantic update? Are there resources for upcoming new releases embedded in this? Or is the engine being revised? Or what?

    There is a Galactic Red Alert Event, a Phoenix Lockbox Event, a Double XP event, a new starship bundle with other stuff, and of course the fixes. Also, do you have On Demand Patching on in the launcher under Options? If you do, uncheck that. Otherwise, it shouldn't be that large unless it is for the aforementioned reasons.

    Also the way files work you can't just tweak a line there and just download those tweaks, no you need to fully replace the file. If the fixes happen to be in files that are fairly large it could easily explain why the patch is so large even if 99% of the data is same as in the previous version.

    Yes. Dilithium Store, reclaim tab. Will reclaim as white quality leveling. They will upgrade to mx XII purple with [Dmg]x3.

    The new Cyclone Patrol Escort appears to be unfinished there is no shuttle bay to be seen and there are missing textures on the ship.

    If you are reporting a bug, you need to do so in the correct subforum, in this case support - graphical and sound issues.

    That is probably why the trait from that ship breaks traits for any characters that acquire the trait from that ship.

    The Vaadwaur NPC issue wasn't fixed. Enemies are still replaced by drones.
