Really wish the older Breach would be brought back as the revamped version is terrible. The first area is really badly designed in the revamp where its made for 1 player to fly in a straight line while 4 players sit AFK with nothing to do. The old version was much better as each player had there own goals instead of just waiting AFK.

I can get why the mech suit itself is a different color, so as to not confuse players in the Voth arena, but why is the weapons fire yellow? Interesting to finally get a shot at Mech Suits.
Can someone confirm?: The Voth Exosuit is not an EV suit, right? So it's just combat armor?
Neither. It's a Kit Module.

We knew that the developer have been eyeballing things like the Voth Battlemech for some time starting with the playable Tzenketti and Red Angel suit.
What is surprising, at least to me, is the format (Kit Module) in which it is released.
Shame we cannot use kit modules on boffs. :P
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Uh, what? That war has been over for a while now.
Perhaps Voth Intel is bad.
It's propaganda.
One of the caches in the battlezone talks about how the mammals even fight amongst each other.
To make sure no one has any doubts about how the Ministry always tells the truth, they had to continue selling this story.
That's the inconvenience that comes with lying, you have to stick to the lies you tell.
I therefore suggest that, besides disabling their fortress ship, we also try to stir up political trouble by showing how well we get along these days. I recommend all Klingons and Humans captains holding hands whenever they get anywhere near a Voth, while wearing some nice necklaces made out of flowers.
We should also wear banners telling everyone to 'make love, not war' while we exchange our phasers and especially our bat'leths for ukulele's.
With some luck, we will have taken over the Klingon Empire sufficiently destabilised the Voth government a year from now.

Yeah, YET another Kit Module, while this could have been made into an item instead, so BOFFs could use it *sighs*
Don't get me wrong, having a Voth Exo-suit is awesome, but come on... We're drowning under Kit Modules already and there's only so many our Captain can use at a given time ! Now I'm no programmer, so I may not know anything about spaghetti code, but how hard could it be to design something as an item instead of a Kit Module? Oh well, can't have everything, I suppose...

My first thought as an alternative would be an armor (explained in-universe, perhaps, as an 'interface suit', as exemplified by NERV's plugsuits); this may have been considered but shelved because it would interfere with armor/shield/weapon sets folks (such as the JH Armored Shroud) like to use on boffs and/or the appropriate coders haven't gotten to nail down how boffs would make effective use of it (this also explains why there is no corresponding manual).
On the subject of mechanics: I for one suspect it would count as a fabrication for the purposes of Quick Fix (which module is quite welcome on Operation Wolf runs)... and for PvP purposes, Sabotage would either immediately terminate the 'transformation' or act as a non-fragile hold.

On the other hand, we also have plenty of armor pieces and similar things.
At least with kit modules you don't have to choose one or the other. Taking the Breen ground set as an example, its stats aren't that great imo. But if you want to use some of the powers and you want the weapon from that set to not be way too slow with firing, you have little choice but to use the armor.
Using this as a kit module at least leaves some freedom in choosing other pieces of equipment, of which you only have one option. I think this is the best choice.
It's also the type of thing, imo, that just has to fit your build thematically speaking. If you use Voth weapons, summonable Voth-saurs and the Dyson rep outfit on a Voth-alien, then it doesn't matter that you're sacrificing a kit module slot. It's a nice way to complete such a character.

Whether we like it or not, it was probably made a Kit Module to stop us using it on our Boffs.
Yes, this. It would be a bloody nightmare if BOFFs could use this. Pathing issues, not equipping it correctly, not unequipping it correctly, having to develop BOFFs to use a whole new power set. I fully understand why BOFFs shouldn't be able to use it.

As I said before you need to do the event version in order to get progress towards the event and the event campaign. Thanks.
I want to say to the STO team a big 'Thank You' for making this Event feel so much newer than just running old TFO's due to the inclusion of the Voth Ground Battlezone as an event participation.
It's been so refreshing to have something different to do, and I look forward to seeing what other parts of the game can become part of events in the future.
I have some suggestions:
Undine Space Battlezone
Kobali Prime
New Romulus
Nukara

It has a full auto rifle weapon, a sniper shot, it can launch explosives, grant full immunity, melt the ground. And of course, it's a Voth battle suit!
I only wish it could be used permanently though. I'd like to suggest reducing the cooldown - or removing the auto-deactivate of the suit (that is: allow it to remain active until cancelled by the player).
The fact that the suit disables running makes it more of a strategic thing. I think that's enough of a safeguard against abuse and enough of a counter to it being a rather powerful ability. In most team scenario's, it wouldn't be wise to keep it active at all times but when you're playing solo it could be an even more fun ability to use if it doesn't auto-deactivate after 90 seconds.

I fully agree to this. I loved the way this event could be done in the Dyson BZ (aswel).
Doing events all year long, this gave some refreshing choice. And since you could pick other map parts didn't feel doing the same thing 14 days in a row.

I would like to give my thanks to the team for extending the Voth Invictus event for us, considering some of us on the player side were rather vitriolic when the patch hell happened. My sincerest apologies for contributing to that vitriol, and my gratitude for extending the event for all of us.
