I really don't think they'll make another Vesta as they've just released the legendary....unless it's MW.
Sorry my mistake, when I wrote this I was thinking of the T5 Star Cruiser (the original flagship from the original 2409 tutorial). NOT the Vesta and her related variants.
That happens a lot, it would be nice if they went back and fixed some of their terminology, especially since back in the early days of the game they tended to use the role (like Star Cruiser (which in most other games would be called a "command cruiser"), Dreadnaught, Escort, etc.) instead of the base class name in the ship vendor.
Year of Romulan? We had "Year of Romulan". It was called Legacy of Romulus.
True, but that was half a decade ago so another one would be nice since they have mostly been concentrating on the other two and a half factions since then.
But they haven't focused on 2409 Feds.....they were going to, then said 'can't be bothered' after ripping out half their content. Roms got a huge over-haul the year before the KDF did, so I don't see why Rom's should be the immediate concern over a DSC/2409 Fed recruitment.
The Romulans got a lot of missions pulled a while ago and unlike the Feds and KDF they were actually polished/streamlined and put back in a fairly timely manner. That is different from doing a "Year of" style focus on the Romulans however.
I was talking about new content and the Romulans have not been the focus of that for quite a while, there has been pretty much nothing since I came back to STO in 2018 except a few ships and maybe a patrol or two as a sideshow from Year of the Klingon. There has been Victory is Life, Age of Discovery, Year of the Klingon, etc., and recently 2409 Feds have had all the Mirror Universe stuff.
What new arcs have featured a Romulan based plotline the way those others did for the other factions in the last few years? Exactly none, that is why people are asking for more Romulan content so much lately.
And it would be great if they could shoehorn it in before the PIC stuff involving the Dominion hits the game with a Gamma arc or whatever and Romulan content gets kicked down the road yet another couple of years.

Heh that would be a bad metric to base recruitment off of. "Eh the game launched as Federation so we never need an event for them" XD
The "Year of Romulan " that I was responding to was mentioned as something separate and in addition to a Recruitment event. My point was that we've already had a "Year of Romulan" with Legacy of Romulus. And as also mentioned, Romulans got an update already, too. All of this is moot, though. It's doubtful that there will be another Recruitment event.

Maybe it's time for the Romulan Civil War arc to begin, D'Tan clearly would rather have his own people sleep in tents like homeless people, I don't about other Romulans but my Romulan will be living in first city on Qo'noS until D'Tan can get his act together and make Mol'Rihan a viable home planet.

Oh yeah for sure there won't be a Romulan recruitment event total agreement about that. If they did another one it would either be something like Delta where it's based on the story or it would be a new branch of Federation

I take it you are talking about the Mol'Rihan settlement not progressing the way it would in a single-player game? MMOs have a lot of built-in static-time problems because not everyone started playing at the same time or progresses along the mission timeline at the same rate.
Unless they make a lot of variant instances depending on where every player is along the mission timeline it simply is not possible to have a public area develop over time like single-player games (or a fleet holding in STO since it develops independently of where a particular player in the fleet is timeline-wise). And if they did that it would make those public areas as deserted as the fleet holdings usually are (or worse).

While Final Fantasy 14 did do something similar with building with the recent Ishgard Housing Disctrict... you're not going to see anything like that in Ishgard or other major regions change because you got players of ALL levels traveling these regions. Players like me who have gotten through Endwalker as well as players who may only be starting Heavensward can be in Ishgard. The Housing District was technically built by players, but has no direct impact on the world of the game other than players have another Housing District they can choose to live in with player housing.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!
