The allied dogfighters set (from the andorian, dewan, and lethean pilot escorts) is currently limited to only being usable on those specific ships.
However, the Bajoran interceptor's D.O.M.I.N.O. Console was later added to the set as a fourth set piece with an accompanying bonus. Problem is, the pilot escorts can get the 4 piece bonus, but the bajoran interceptor can't - because the only piece of the set it can equip is the domino console.
Could we get someone to flip a few toggles and allow the bajoran interceptor to equip the other 3 pieces of the set? It already lacks the pilot abilities and has the same weapon layout as the pilot escorts, so I don't really see any balance reasons for preventing it from using the set. It just seems like a legacy change that was half-finished and left that way.
Personally I really like how the bajoran interceptor looks, but it feels like I'm forced into one of the other ships to benefit from the set bonuses (which include 50% cooldown reduction on its console, a not-insignificant benefit).
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

This is not a bug. Anniversary reward ships often come out just before these multi-ship-packs and often have a console that ties in with that pack. This Anniversary-reward-console is usually free of restrictions but the console that come with the pack are always restricted to their ships.

Nope, it was always a 4th part of the set right from its' release.
These 5 ships also have a console (secondary deflector for the Dyson) that forms the 4th part of a set. The 4th part has no restriction but the other three parts are restricted to their own class of ships.
The D.O.M.I.N.O. is simply following a clearly established pattern.
