New trait Independent Wingmate is bugged

It's a little unclear which bit is the bug the lack of damage boost or the incorrect symbol saying there is a boost. The trait says the first hangar pet launched gains a damage boost it is not clear if this is first pet launched per bay or just first pet launched. When we launch hangar bay 1 the first pet has the Independent Wingmate buff symbol. When we lunch hangar bay 2 the first pet also has the Independent Wingmate buff symbol. While the first pet of both bays gets the Independent Wingmate buff symbol only one of them is getting the damage boost and resistance boost while the other is getting no boost.

Personally, I really hope it's meant to be the first pet of both bays as this will revitalise frigates and makes them worth using. If it's only 1 bay that turns the trait from a good trait to a barely average trait. Please consider fixing it so the first pet of both bays gets the buff as this is the type of change Carrier are desperate for. If it is meant to be 1 pet from 1 bay only then could the text be made clearer that the 2nd bay is not buffed and the buff symbol needs removing from the 2nd bay.

Kind of related to this as its carrier themed. The trait Friends in Unusual Places is still 100% broken. The text on the trait is completely different to the text power in the blog about the trait. The trait itself appears to do nothing. It doesn't do what the blog says or the trait itself says. Nothing happens.

What the issue is: Fitted trait Friends in Unusual Places and nothing happens to cooldown. Fitted trait Independent Wingmate. Launched hangar bay 1 and hangar bay 2 the first pet in both bays gets the Independent Wingmate buff symbol but the buff is only working for 1 bay while the other bay has the buff symbol but gains no buff bonus.
What steps you already tried when attempting to resolve your issue: Tried different pets, different ships, different maps asked other players who had the same bug.

    Can confirm, hope they apply it to both hangars separately.

    The latest patch mentions a fix for this trait, and it works. Both hangar bays boost the first pet. Thank you devs this has completely revitalised frigates. While frigate are still behind fighters the trait makes a massive difference. Frigate are now viable and fun to use.

    As of 18/09/22 the trait is broken again. We are no longer getting the bonus to the 2nd hangar bay. Its rather frustrating as this had revitalised frigates and made them viable again. Now the 2nd bay is broken. The trait is only really worthwhile if it works with both bays.

    EDITR: Fixed again. Changing ships didn't work at first, though on my 4th change ship and slotting the trait in now it works again. I am puzzled by this.

    19th and the bug is back bay 2 is no longer getting the bonus. I tried unequipping the trait and refitting, moving to different maps nothing worked. When I changed pets I then ended up with zero bonus with bay1 and bay 2 both losing the trait bonus.

    Talked to system designer, Only the first ship launched will have this buff. Once that ship dies and another ship launches. Then that new first hangar pet will have the buff.

    Is that first launched per hangar bay? As half the time I am seeing a buff for the first pet launched per hangar bay so 2 pets have the buff. Half the time it's for the first pet launched including the 2nd bay so 1 pet gets the buff. It's very inconsistent. It seems to get stuck in one mode or another. I can play for hours with both bays getting the buff/boost, then hours with only 1 bay getting the buff.

    Please pass on this feedback. With the buff working for the first pet per bay we have found Wingmate has revitalised frigates and made them fun and worthwhile to use again. With this buff working for both bays Frigates are no longer miles behind Fighters. After the fix please consider making this a buff for the first pet for both bays as its one of the most positive and fun features to be added for Carrier pilots in a long time. Although I understand if it's fixed to 1 bay.

    Sept 20 - on Eternal Temporal MMSV that has only a single bay, the trait does not seem to do anything. It shows in the hover tooltip, but no icons before or after launch and I don't see any unusually high damage in combat damage from the/a pet. I've tried changing out hangar pets, still no indicator that it is an active trait other than just showing in the hover tooltip.

    Back to being broken again. 27th Oct Patch. No buff on either bay, no pets have the icon on them. Tried slotting and unslotting trait and pets. Tried map moving, no change. 100% not working.

    Update: Swapped to the new Valdres Command Strike Wing Escort and Wingmate was working correctly. Then swapped back to a Fleet Ra'nodaire and wingmate stopped working again. No buff, no icon. Tried changeing pets, changing trait nothing seemed to work to get the Fleet Ra'nodaire working which did work before.

    The bug might be linked to the carrier in use. Just tried an Atrox Carrier and Wingmate worked 100% of the time. Tried a Fleet Support Ra'noidaire and the trait Wingmate failed 100% of the time.

    Found a Wingmate solution. If you get stuck with zero pets getting the buff. Go into combat and let 100% of both bays get blown up. This unsticks Wingmate and gets it working again. At least it did for me. Half a bay blown up did not work.

    EDIT: Now it's back to broken again after a map move. It's not practical to blow up the frigates every map just to get them working.
