Characters not Loading in the Selection Screen

I was logging in to play the new missions and delve into the new content with Star Trek Online Ascension; however, when I log in and hit engage the game appeared to load fine but none of my characters were loading on the character selection screen. I selected one of my characters and waited over 15 minutes to no avail all I saw was a list of my characters with one selected saying loading and none of my characters or their bridge officers were appearing. I then tried switching computers and had the same result and also tried switching characters to see if it was character specific however, this also did not work and the issue persisted. Please help! Thank you.

I see 3 Tvrell's on mine LOL there's definitely some issues with the character select screen.

For a long time (at least a year or so) some of my characters appear on the selection screen without their boffs, and once it displayed the ship instead of the captain, but nothing as bad that (I hope it never gets that bad). Their anti-rubberbanding measures seem to have made their database connections rather iffy.

This is usually the result of multiple BOFFs sharing the same costume name in the Tailor. Go into the Tailor and give each BOFF a unique costume name to correct this issue.

The Character Select screen uses whatever costume you are wearing when you logout with the toon on the Ground. If you logout with the toon in Space, it reverts to whatever costume is in your first costume slot.
