Looks like there's some new, big update coming?

After closing the game, it began downloading a couple of 100s of MB's.

Yes. It is the new update, a new Halloween TFO or mini games, maybe an episode, possibly the BOFF upgrade system, and likely a new dilithium “sink.”

We will probably get the first blog post next week.

I suspect we might see the next part of the mirror universe/V'Ger arc after the recent event.

    I think it's Foundry 2.0

They threw out all the old Foundry code (that no one knew how to use any more) and replaced it entirely with brand new code that will integrate much more seamlessly into the game. It will come with a well-documented instruction manual for future dev team members, allowing them to easily work with and build upon this new solid foundation without bugs for many, many years to come.

    That was my thinking too.

There is such a thing as too much wishful thinking.

There was some scuttlebutt about an event in the universe where people across the universe were watching.
If it hit tribble, then this overflow from a TV series may also be included in the holodeck server.

Perhaps the new gate from Picard?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Oh. It’s only September not October. It must just be the Episode, possibly the Boff system, the dill sink, and the Trmporal Recruitment event.

Too bad. I’m hoping we get the witches hats this year. 🧙‍♀️

One patch made all the hair models on all my characters disappear. I had to un-install and re-install the game to get ride of all my bald characters. That may be your only solution as well.
