Sadly due to the UK being all sub-Saharan currently I can't try it yet, having my console melt would not be great.
Does the UK not have air conditioners?
UK weather tends to be a lot more cooler during much of the year, a lot houses don't come with AC as it's not needed so when a heatwave of up to 40.3'c comes through (which is a first in the uk by the way and it happened today), unfortunately that lack of AC comes back to be a big problem for those days where such a heatwave happens. last night temps were up to 25'c outside, it was uncomfortably warm inside (closer to 30'c) and waking up this morning i had a massive headache and needed to change the bed sheets because i was sweating a ocean, so opening a 1 litre bottle of cold water, i drunk all that within 10 seconds flat.
You can setup your own AC for the house, the problem is that it's very expensive to do and dropping down to mobile AC units, you need a specific window to setup the exhaust for the unit to work properly, but not every house in the uk has the same window design so it's hit or miss how these things go. if you can't do that, you just got an expensive cooler in your house.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

What he said.
I'm in the countryside reasonably near the coast, so it's not as bad as say, London or any of the larger towns or cities. Still pretty toasty though, spent most of my day in an inflatable pool filled with ice.
I know 35 degrees celsius is nothing to some parts of the US but we Brits aren't equipped to deal with it.
Threw on a basic starter build which tends to do well regardless of the ship, but i find myself struggling flying this ship.
It's not agile, not sturdy, science is not exceptional and the list goes on. Is there some niche i missed with this ship?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Well took mine for a test drive tonight... would agree that it isn't too agile. It could use a tad higher inertia rating imo.
It is big. So big in fact that if I decide to keep using it would probably fiddle with the field of view (/setregionfov space 55 is default) as with a lot of larger ships there's the feeling of wanting to zoom out bit more to get a better view of things.
The console animation that transforms the ship is actually pretty cool. The purple bubble killed enemy ships on an advanced patrol. That's kinda neat.
Used a mix of reputation, fleet, and storyline gear borrowed from a tac toon that uses phaser beams. With beams I went with Photonic Officer 2 for cooldown reduction and used the MW universal LtC slot as an engineer and went with ET1, NSB, and MAS. Since my toon is spec'd with 2 points of EPG used a Lt science boff spot with Delayed Overload Cascade.
It did fine tbh, and getting the cruiser mastery traits completed seemed to firm it up a bit. For me it's always going to be a novelty ship. It's certainly unique.
Will do some additional testing this weekend, but the stationary defensive mode is albeit effective a poor fit for my play style.
Had the console be open for use on other ships without the transformation it could have been useful in addition to the ion storm etc to grab aggro.

Jellyfish Ship is great! Try it for Counterpoint (park over DS9, and everyone else can deliver assault teams for tons of marks, and also burn Terok Nor), or Iuppiter Iratus (park at Jupiter Station, and everyone else can focus on closing rifts to get the TFO done ASAP). There are probably more situations where the huge diameter of damage and healing, along with you spamming your Space Magic, will be of good use.

The issues concerning the big purple field have been covered in another topic, so we'll leave that.
It's not a terrible ship outside of the engineeritis it suffers, just OK. Just annoying when somebody else uses it in a TFO.
