Hard to say exactly since I like variety, though Hearts and Minds on the various Friday the 13ths over the year is one of my favorites since it is quick and rather off-the-wall and provides a very useful doff.
Remain Klingon is another since the action keeps going and the "you're targeted, get to the other ship" mechanic does not bog down the action, instead of boring timewasters like the moon one with its turrets and long travel times or Synthwave with its long timers and annoying do-nothing mechanics (and the Blake's Seven music makes it even worse).
Reward wise, I like the campaigns along with the occasional standalone T6 coupon event sprinkled in. The campaigns are the most versatile and valuable but the Lobi or Premium coupon make even two c-store T6 coupons seem like a waste to claim instead so the standalone T6 coupon events are extremely useful for getting the c-store ships without a sense of guilt.
I like the various recruitments (except for the Gamma one, I have no interest whatsoever in making a Jem'Hadar so I ignore it), not only are there a lot of good rewards for both the recruit and others on the account, the mission track means there is always something to do between event runs. If Gamma was doable with Vorta I would like it too.
Red Alerts are great for filling in gaps for endgame characters, though they can also be annoying because they are endgame-only so are useless for new recruits and such.
How about getting Spectres back along with the Guardian of Forever episode? People have only been asking for that since it was removed years ago. That would make for a cool event.
And if anyone asks— yes, it was an event back when you had “Featured Episodes.”
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
1st Kobayashi Maru (No Win) the original version as the current revamped version ruined NWS.
2nd Crystalline Entry original version was the best although the 1st revamped version was good. The newest revamp/changes ruined it.
3rd Unto the Breach Event again the original version as each revamp made it worse.
4th StarBase 24 again the original version with the scoring system. Removing the scoring system was a mistake and although the revamped StarBase One is not terrible like the above revamps its still no where near as good as the original Starbase 24. (don't forget the semi hidden Dreadnought to earn extra points or semi hidden ground area from SB24)
The best time I ever had in STO was the original STF raids now all removed from game. I would love to see these back in game with the combined Ground/Space sections all linked. If these comes back they need to be run alongside the current ISE e.c.t the STF raids should not replace the current versions. They should be brought back for people who prefer longer more challenging content.

I really liked the TFO with the salt vampires or the one with the temple with tal Shiar and Fek'lir demons.
However AFAIK neither one was ever an event (devs, as picard would say "make it so" )

Honestly, aside from the old no longer run Mirror Invasion, Kobayashi Maru and Arena of Sompek, what other events are there that aren't seasonal? Oh, maybe the Red Alerts? I guess the Into the Breach and Crystalline Cataclysm are since they are a slightly modified version of the regular TFO's. But really, every other "event" is just regular TFO's that are taken out of random for a few weeks to fit a theme and given a reward for completion.
While I was in the beta, I've really only been here since late 2012 regularly. And I can't think of any other events other than those I listed above. Plenty of content removed, but events? Yeah, I'm stumped. I guess figure a way to make the Mirror Invasion more fun and bring that back. Lots of stuff others have brought up were 'normal' TFO's and were simply removed so I personally can't count those. I suppose rework them and make them events and bring them back too.
Perhaps make a list of all events to jog the memories of those of us who have perhaps forgotten them as I would like to see more things brought into the game to make it enjoyable again.
Hello. My name is iamynaught and I am an altaholic.
Crystalline Entity.
Because if you're gonna make me farm 20 times the same TFOs about 5 times every year, I'll take the one that is fast, has no repeating VA that makes you want to set the volume to zero after the first 5 runs, no mandatory endless waves and only one target so the VFX Gigaflare is focused at only one point of the map.
Remain Klingon.
It's one of the rare TFOs that can be completed relatively fast if players do the one job they're required to do. Just tweak it a bit so the ships can't target the same player in a row.
Shuttle event.
Shuttles need a lot more love and this would be a good step towards it, even if it's the only one.
Featured episodes with hidden lobis and featured rewards inside.
If you wanna make me run your new episode(s) a dozen of time, at least give me some useful incentive.
"Only Qo'noS Endures" was probably my favorite event due to the variety of event options.
As far as TFOs exclusively: "Best Served Cold" is probably the one I enjoyed the most due to supporting a variety of playstyles(zippy attack ships, BFAW boats, and control-oriented ships all have moments to shine). Second would probably be either "Battle at the Binary Stars" or "Kobayashi Maru" for just being straight forward shooting galleries(the former is much nicer for grav well setups to make it less tedious to have to grind).
Obviously, I'd rather have new content instead of chewing on the same regurgitated content though.
Original No-Win Scenario as the Kobayashi wasn't a suicidal manaic and the original version of the Breach (once it had the AFK penalty installed.....and that still needs to kick players who sit there till the Breach part!!!).
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
My favorite events are Red Alerts, Arena of Sompek, Hearts and Minds (I would like it back as an option for Halloween during the Fall of the Old Ones event and/or every Friday the 13th (activated when the servers are down for maintenance not during a certain time of night) or better yet add it in permanently into the game, maybe be put it under the Devidian arc), and Featured Episode Reruns (which I think is when players should get the Ophidian Cane, Shard of Possibilities, Reman BOFF, and Breen BOFF Tran and not from Mudd's Market or put those items in the Phoenix Packs during the Phoenix Lockbox Event (I do not believe I was around when free Lobis were a thing). I liked participating in Red Alerts when they were permanently part of the game. I would like them to be added back into the game instead of being taken out and only made filler or special TFO events. Instead it would be cool if there were three levels of these: Normal, Advanced, and Elite. During the Red Alert Events or a special Borg Event, then the Advanced and Elite versions would be disabled and only the Normal would be available to get event and/or Event Campaign progress if that is also going on.
I would also like the discontinued Mirror Invasion event back as well as the original No-Win Scenario which I never played when it was around. Also, Starbase 24 and Starbase 24 Rescue (do not believe I was around for those), Slowing the Expeditionary Force (never did it) Breaking the Planet (never did it), Big Dig (might have done it but it would have been a long time ago), Fluidic Space Fleet Action (never did, the AI of the Gekli could be revamped), Terradome ( I never played it), and Mine Trap (I might have played it but it would have been a long time ago).
Would also be cool to have the Shuttle Event back (not sure I ever participated in it or not) since we have the queues for it and maybe they could be reworked to add rewards that are shuttle-specific. It would give more of a incentive for people to work on their shuttles.
Finally, instead of having an event overload (excluding filler events like the Red Alerts) could we please have a short hiatus from constantly running events? Thanks.
When I'm levelling toons, Red Alert events (for quick collection of traits) and bonus expertise events are by far my favourites. I don't really care for upgrade or admiralty bonus events as they don't really promote the playing of content directly.
Looking at the content, the long version of Breach is my favourite. The old versions of Crystalline entity were nice too.
And I kind of miss the shuttle events.
Discontinued stuff that should be brought back from time to time are the big Iconian War campaigns (which tracked game-wide progress based on activity of - IIRC - recruits and unlocked bonuses accordingly). Also, I wouldn't mind seeing some new events that promote some other missions, like the Borg ground ones or Fleet alert and Starbase incursion.
I would like to see a return of the "featured episode" so new alts and players can get the reman boff and breen boff and the other one-off goodies that cannot be had otherwise
Hard for me to choose one since I cannot see anything buried under all of the VFX spam.
This.
Plus Mine Trap was flarken awesome! Itjust suffered from requiring too damned many players. It was good that the devs were willing to experiment, though.
However, they should have learned and made a standard 5-player version.
if i were to throw my hat into the ring, while it was never an episode or TFO. I'd want Terradome back. It was a great team tester and it probly should have been a TFO since the map would act like you had a team of 5 when you warped in. Jut because Cooper was stopped doesn't mean there's not someone else ready to step in and try.
Perhaps an Elite version of the Borg TFOS, Or a Combined Space-Ground version of said TFOs.
Maybe a varient of Arena of Sompek that's just boss or Captain-Admiral level chracters

Losing faith in humanity, one person at a time.

Lol this.
More seriously: the Breach event. Especially when there's a Voth-related reward like the fangs.
Totally this. I can't think of any event content that I felt was just a slog.

Good one. A bunch of players in shuttles and fighters going pew-pew-pew is fun.
That would make a nice filler event in place of a 1-week red alert.
