    Some, but not all, of the login servers crashed, folks. They're working on bringing them back up.

    Blue Shift is broken and impossible to complete. A map transition is supposed to occur when escaping TSD and it doesn't work, from in-mission or continuation in space.

    Traits are screwed up too, missing traits, trait boxes in the wrong place. not enough trait boxes (5 where I should have 6)

    This PC patch has gone well huh...

    Hate to say it but its a shame this couldnt be all sorted on Tribble like it used to be in the old days.
    More Devs needed poor guys are working outright to sort something with more people to test maybe wouldnt have happened.

    Oh, good, you can't connect either. I was worried that this was the day the potato I'm using as a GPU finally gave up its ghost.
    The forum inverting its color scheme all of a sudden didn't help either.

    Yep lots of problems I think at the moment I just hope its like Apollo 13 and one dev is going "Lets work the problem people lets not make it worse by guessing"

    Well, that sucks. I have two days off (and they're not the weekend) and sit down to play the new missions and *poof* the first one is broken and they want me to skip it until it's fixed, but hey buy some keys and try for a new ship that you'll NEVER get. *sigh*

    I'm getting the same error from the launcher. Sever status says green. Is the server still down?

    I am getting that exact same error as well, running on Steam. I went so far as to first uninstall and then re-install on Steam. Then I installed Arc, and installed the game on Arc.

    Same error for each.

    still cannot log in keeps saying unable to start game client; client quit unexpectedly you need to fix this issue people still cannot log in

    Although login is now fixed. Each time i play my load out keeps changing, and I have to reset (only 1 wep and one console though so no big deal). But keep getting a crash report on closing the game. Will also post in bug reporting.

    Still got "Unable to start game client: client quit unexpectedly" so not fixed really really not good... at least say you are dealing with it please.

    Is the new requirement for DX12 going to be removed or did I and many others just get forcibly retired?
    (Client crashes on 'Engage' looking for directx12 libraries. Win8 can not run DX12.)
    Clean STO install on two computers, same results, immediately following patch.

    This bought The Blog Post to mind, but it's about DirectX 11, so this needs looked into.
