Timed out and extreme lag network issue Vancouver, B.C. area

Hi awesome STO people,
Just after the recent update on Thursday, my STO is in constant server timed out and extreme lag state. Netgraph shows 20k+ ping, although it dies down to around 300ping after some minutes, but any session remains unplayable and robber bands. Below are the Trace Route and Path Ping results, showing 2 junction having issues with timeout and 100% packetloss. I hope someone can shed some light on it. Many thanks.

I am finding similar issues here in Kamloops B.C. Canada.

I too can confirm Kamloops, B.C. Canada with Telus connection is affected as well.

Connection to the log-in server times out, and IF you can actually get past the log-in server, Game is unplayable due to rubber banding, and/or lag... (for example, you can not even assign crew members to tasks due to the game, failing to respond to issue commands.)

Thanks Draconin2000 and Doirion for confirming the issue. After many troubleshooting and tinkering I have found the issue is with the Cryptic proxy server and redirecting issue. The US2 proxy server is not responding properly and it is not directing the traffic to the correct alternative server. The work around I found was to open the Star Trek Online Launcher > click on the "Options" (on the very top section of the launcher near the upper right corner) > Scroll down to the "Command Line" and enter "-SetProxy us1.proxy.crypticstudios.com 80" (without the quote marks). This will force the redirection to the US1 proxy. This worked for me in resolving the timeout and lag issue. If that didn't work try to replace "us1" with "eu1" or "eu2" as alternatives. Hope this works for you guys.
