Too many attempts; try again later. help

in Windows and General: PC, Network, and Other Technical Issues
I tried to log into the STO client and got the "Too many attempts; try again later." Error message.
I can however log into the ARC launcher and I am able to log into the website.

What gives? Why am I getting this error.
And how long will I have to wait before I can log back in?
