Well this is probably not what you were looking for but the thing I would love added to the winter wonder land is transporter pads to take me to the event staging areas like the village or the ability to jump directly to all the events like you can in Kramp'Ihri
Pie plate chakram weapons (based on the same code as Lek's Knives)
They have the carrots already that are WW versions of Lek's Knives, they work ok but aren't as effective as some of the other weapons. A pie chakram would be good as a kind of "chain lightling" style bouncing weapon though that would hit several targets sort of like the Ba'ul space weapons do.

Already done. The Chel Grett and Plesh Brek, which were originally released as T5s, came back as the T6 Chel Boalg and Plesh Tral, and we have the T6 Sarr Theln Carrier and Rezreth Dreadnought.
These are some things I'd like to see added to Winter Events over the years to come:
WINTER EVENT KITS: Hot Chocolate Puddle; Chocolate Chip Cookie Shrapnel Grenade
WINTER EVENT DEVICES: Hot Chocolate Cannon; Chocolate Chip Cookie Land Mine
WINTER EVENT WEAPONS: Hot Chocolate Sprayer; Chocolate Chip Shooter
I've always wondered why we'd use Snow against snowmen, I mean anything throwing fast enough will chip away at them though... ...still Hot Chocolate or Hot Eggnog might be fun, depending if you like dark brown or White. I guess you could also make a Hot White Chocolate puddle as well, I guess they don't cause it melt them too fast.
I always though some sort of ski jump event would be fun, maybe with Snowmen random throwing snowballs to and wind gusts to affect your trajectory and distance
I wouldn't count on them adding anything new to the Winter Event except for items to buy. It what, over three years now that they have a new Bonus Dilithium Reward mechanism (start at 8k and increase 1k everyday), but it is still using the old mechanism (start at 2.5k and increase by 2.5k per day). If they couldn't just substitute a library code routine for another, they just don't want to.

i was kindof disappointed with most of the kit modules offered. half of them didnt look like they had a winter theme.
the only one i was really interested in was for the engineer was anchor of grethor and thats not even a cold module, so no interaction with the breen set.
the cryo mines might be ok, i dont know. the visor blast has a bit of a short range.
really, the most interesting concepts for engineering kits havent been used. no frost turret, no drones that shoot frost grenades or missiles etc.
i guess the tactical officers have a few fun ones in there like grenades and rockets.
