    Pet Tab.
STO's pet system is rather clunky compared to other games, requiring you to have an item in your inventory rather than it unlocking a new power. I'd like to see either a pet tab added to inventory/bank, or a revamp of the pet system to make pet items usable to bestow a pet summoning ability, which in turn would need a new tab in the "spell book" dedicated to pets so it doesn't clutter up the current one with a million non combat pets.

Something similar to accolade titles would be good. As in you have a list like accolade titles that you select from and the "summon pet" power in your power tray summons the one you have currently selected.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

This was probably already mentioned, but anyway:

Let us use every bridge unlocked for a captain, on every ship that captain owns.

If ship customization tables are currently using something like an index into a hard-coded table of bridge ids, 1 = (ID a), 2 = (ID b), ... then change that to storing the full (ID a). Keep all unlocked IDs in another table.

With this, any ship can have a TOS bridge if you own it, or a Discovery bridge, or a KDF, or a Romulan, or ... instead of silly rules that a Fed flying a KDF ship must have a KDF bridge, and a KDF flying a Fed ship must keep the human-centric lighting.

I keep seeing these requests, but would it not be rather silly to fly e.g. a Defiant and when you move towards your bridge you step onto the Bridge of an odyssey.

At the very least keep bridges restricted to the class of ship. E.g. Galaxy bridge (cruiser) cannot be used on Steamrunner (escort)

Why wouldn't a Klingon adjust the lighting on a Fed or Romulan ship to match their eyesight and use more comfortable seats and control panels, especially if their crew is also KDF? Why wouldn't a Fed do the same while flying a KDF ship?

We are flying a defiant-class ship, not "the" Defiant. Some captains might want the stock defiant bridge, some might be fed aliens, or Romulans, Jem'Hadar or KDF with much different ideas about what a relaxing bridge looks like.

It's the same with uniforms. You might be a purist who worries about using the wrong badge or pips on a costume and always uses canon color schemes, but many other players want less restrictive rules.

Your fun is not wrong, but neither is the fun of the non-purists.

Also, since Cryptic is no longer creating bridges for us, many ships don't get canon or ship-specific bridges, they get generic ones. It's already the "wrong" bridge so let us choose the wrong bridge that makes us happiest.

Since all bridges are just visible to the player there is no reason for arbitrary restrictions. Player B is not affected at all by player C using a BoP bridge on a Galaxy class.

Bridges and interiors should be unlocked universally. If you have a bridge (through purchase or ship acquisition) you should be able to use it any way you want.

^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^

One major win for me would be getting rid of damage (DOT and otherwise) knocking you out of objectives.

It's overly punitive for no good reason whatsoever.

care to elaborate on this? i am not certain i follow what you may be expecting others to.

    A major example; Borg Disconnected.

I'm trying to rescue a Borg ship, yet I got tagged by an enemy with a DOT plasma. I now can't rescue said Borg ship as I'm getting knocked off it by the DOT. YET I can still close Undine rifts with no issue.

Procyon V is a real highlight of this issue, want to close the portals? Tough, you're getting shot at by the endlessly spawning enemies you can't get rid of because you can't close the portals because you're getting hit. I've had the last part of that drag on for 30 minutes due to that.

Applies to ground too, same thing happens. Want to do an objective? Tough, you're getting shot.
