Probably eventually, if STO can talk CBS into allowing them to put it in the game as a realistic model rather than as a cartoon (which the engine cannot handle easily, if at all) so it will probably take a while before they release it in game.
Also, they got word that the ship does something unusual but not what it was, so even without the cartoon graphics issue they would probably wait to find out what the something is before releasing it in the game so they can build the trait and console around it.

IMO the California Class itself isn't as much of a problem because she looks like a solid design, and honestly if they had a Vanity Shield for the cartoon colors it would be interesting. But IMO you put the Galaxy hull material on a California it would probably fit in just fine.

Yes but we'll have to wait until the Cerritos does it's special thing in season 2, apparently there's something special about the Cerritos that separates it from other ships.
It will be very lacking by Cryptic if STO doesn't receive a Cerritos in-game & I'd like to see that Vancouver-class too. & soon they'll have the Prodigy series to contend with as well.

It wouldn't be lacking if CBS decides they don't want that. Only time will tell, but I do feel like for the most part the ships are going to be less of a problem than uniforms or characters due to someone wanting them to be in animated style rather than STO's more realistic. Remember how the Lower Decks BOffs looked when they were first dropped? They were in STO style. Then suddenly changed to Lower Decks art despite the fact that they did not match the art style of STO whatsoever.

From watching a couple of livestreams, to me, it sounds like the delay of any LD ships is more a Cryptic hesitation & not a CBS issue unless they cannot come to an agreement upon something. Besides it doesn't sound probable that CBS wouldn't want their newest ST series represented in STO since many players seem to want the ship(s) in it as well. I didn't mind Cryptic's version of the LD "DOFFs" but I do think they look better now.

Yes and they were ugly,Tendi was at least passable, but rest either needed to be set on fire or a make over, I know cartoon looks don't fit the artstyle, but honestly I'd rather have the cartoon versions over the horrific unholy abominations, personally I don't mind if they try to do it in STO's art style as long as we don't end up with those awful looking versions again.
