Vaadwuar Cluster Torpedo

Hi Guys. Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum. I am never sure which section to use. I want the Vaadwuar cluster torpedo (very rare) but because I have already completed this mission, a very long time ago, and at some point in the past must have discarded it, I can only receive a rare version which is not upgradable. Is there a way to get the original back?. Its not that big a deal I guess but I have serious Star Trek Online ocd. I have a vaadwuar ship now and decided i must have the vaadwaur torp, before they take me away in a straight jacket

I wasn't aware that the Vaadwaur Cluster Torpedo wasn't upgradeable. Granted I don't use it myself but I'm a bit of a packrat for special weapons.

I'd probably have to take a look at any stat differences between the purple and the blue. Might be possible that there's no difference at all, kinda like how they made the old purple quality Crossfire Tribble Gold quality but no stat difference. I still got one of the OG purple Crossfires.

Its really odd. The first playthrough of the mission gives a version that can be upgraded but not reengineered. Further playthroughs gives you a differnt version that is the other way around you cannot upgrade it but it can be reengineered. Its one of those bugs I really wish would be fixed as I want to use 3 of them. Both versions have different icons as well.

From what I can tell if you happen to lose the original one its impossible to get back and the reply version is not very good being stuck at low level.

Another part of the bug is that while you can get the first torpedo at a low level if you run the scenario with a low level character, it cannot be used at all as anything but tier XII or higher.

People were telling me I was stuck with a broken launcher that I might as well throw out since I got it while my character was late twenties or early thirties level but I kept it around and upgraded it along with the gear I was actually using in case it became usable later on (and it did).

I'mma gonna tag @darkbladejk for an opinion. Might get passed up the chain because it does seem kinda odd. Not bug odd but... unsure if this is intentional or not.

I'm not really sure if this is a bug, but it's definitely something that needs to be addressed and I will ask them about. actually a couple of items like that.
