I would have wished the Oberth could have separated. I really miss separating ships, the feature was always underutilized and the pets lack a UI, but it'd be nice to have your choice which part to control and to be able to customize them. The T6 Oberth just screams separation, the uppder part would be a great "scout"-type ship (STO terms, so science-escort) and the lower half could turn upside-down, extend a fin from the neck and a a light cruiser-esque ship. There should be a secondary deflector and some windows in the bow of course.

Until I see otherwise, my understanding is that the bundle is optional. The ships will be available separately. You'll just pay the full price for them.

By separation he meant saucer separation.
I did, which I thought would be clear if one reads more than the first five words of my post, but maybe I just expressed myself badly.

It would be cool to have a separating sci ship, but I don't think it would be one in which you get to choose which section to command. Sure, one section could be a scout ship in terms of stats (+weapon power, +flanking damage, -max hull, -shield power), but what would the other section be? It is already a sci ship, so you can't boost sci stats by separating, it wouldn't make sense. It also wouldn't make sense to boost eng stats by breaking the ship into two pieces.

That's a fair point. There had to be some gimmick that makes the separated section somehow more versatile at least situational. Like experimental shielding that wouldn't work on the fused ship or the ability to shift out of phase (and separation would be a safety measure in-universe in case the engineering section has a freak accident).

APU Cruiser
Hirogen Hunter Heavy Escort
Kazon Heavy Raider
Malon Battlecruiser
Nihydron Destroyewith F6 r
Sphere Builder Arehbes Destroyer
Tholian Meshweaver
These are never going to be upgraded to T6. They were released as T5s simultaeously with T6 ships. They were meant as booby prizes so that at least you won something.
Well, considering they've been 'retiring' T5s to be replaced with T6 equivalents in the Lobi Store, such as the T5 Orb Weaver -> T6 Iktomi, and the T5 Recluse Carrier that was replaced with the Jaroguma Carrier in the Lock Box.
Chances are when they update the Temporal Ambassador mission, like they've been doing for the Task Forces and the Romulan and Klingon story arcs, they'll introduce scaling T6 Meshweavers just to finish the set.
You know these things take time right? There's stats, design, making sure the new parts play well with the old parts, console, trait, texturing, making sure ALL the vanity items play well with the model/textures... current projects being worked on that could affect the ship team...
You can't just snap your fingers and make a ship. Its coming. Hell... they even mentioned the Nova in the last livestream so cool off.
Considering the number of quality passes it took just to get the various Miranda variant parts to play together in the Ship Customization, it can certainly take a long while. Throwing in the Malachowski parts in....
Ship Team: "Well, we've finally finished the Advanced Light Cruiser! *whew* We've finished all the variants and got them to finally fit them together, so can move on to another ship!"
Memo from the management: "This just in, you have to work on adding parts from the Mlachowski and a 2410 version of that ship! And we might decide to throw in the STO TOS starter ship, the Pioneer-Class, as well later down the road, for good measure."
Ahh, the T6 Oberth...now they have 0 excuse to not release a T6 Nova...absolutely 0. How long has it been since it was requested?
But there is still the Saber, Norway, Olympic, and Cheyenne, for canonical ships they could do before the Nova.
It wouldn't take much to add Olympic parts to the T6 Temporal Science Vessel. Chances are, they might do what they did for the T6 Malachowski, was to create the T6 version of the Olympic with the intention to have it and the Temporal Science Vessel share the same parts.

I think early on most of the revamps, like to the Miranda model, were being done in spare time. Nowadays they are giving more actual work hours to them.

This caught my eye as well. Perhaps it’s prudent to give peeps time to test it a bit.
I have trouble reading the description. Does the activation deplete aux power each second while the bonus dmg stacks up?
If so aux2bat builds terminate it rather fast and even with full aux we are talking 5-6 seconds or so...
I'm pretty sure that's the obvious catch, which is why I made some quick math about it earlier.
To use the console to its fullest potential, you need to have quite a specific build to refill as much of your aux power level every couples of seconds, which may come at the expense of other stuff in your build.

You can keep saying this, but Cryptic has said every ship in the game will get a T6 version eventually.
If so true, why didn't you list the T5 Mirror Ships?
None of those were a unique geometry. They only had slightly different artwork and stats, For example, the Mirror Luna has the same stats as the standard Trident (and vice versa).
My point was not advocating for T5 Mirror Ships to be made T6, but to point out ships that won't as they are in the same lump as those others (APU, etc.). What remains in the Infinity T5 Selection Pack (other than the Hazari Hunter which was a a Lockbox main prize) were Lockbox Consolation Prizes. As such, I don't believe any of them will be T6'd.

Just out of curiosity: Does this mean the Oberth getting a visual overhaul like most other old ships have at this point? Would very much appreciate it, the level of detail of those reworks is amazing.
On another note: Which ships are now left without T6 treatment? Nova, Saber, Steamrunner, ... ?
Point 1: Yes. And apparently will have both TMP era and TNG era variant parts for the Oberth alongside the Grissom parts.
Point 2: At least. Although Kael did point out that it was surprising that there hasn't been much in the way of requests for a T6 Saber. Mostly Nova.
YES! YES! YES!
Even better! I was beyond excited at the news! The Oberth & the Daedalus are tied as my 2nd-favorite Sci Ships after the Nova, so the Grissom is a huge win for me! New Cruisers are always a win! Linking it with the other Light Cruisers is awesome & much appreciated!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the content of this bundle!
Including the Vests & Jackets is greatly appreciated!
This bundle is now #1 on my MUST BUY list!!
Now, if only the Console – Universal – Phased-Space Membrane came in GREEN VFX...

Any ship with a TOS makeover is a winner in my book. The Type 0 skin, the rounded spinning collectors...they look sensational. I just love the 60's feel, over and above the "new" look. It's the reason I haven't taken my last TOS toon to the 25th Century and levelling her by playing the same four missions over and over, because I prefer being there! ESD with Ohura in the bar and the ye olde looks and sounds. And if every ship was capable of being TOS'd...ooh.
