I'm debating on which race to use for this event, Either Orion or Gorn for KDF since I have both types of Klingons already and I'm stuck between Andorians, Cardassians and making another Vulcan for Feds.

All my non-Rom characters are aliens: my one Fed character looks like a Reman, and my one KDF character is half-klink/half-Rom.
Also, I did the FED one when it first happened, 6 years ago. Do the other 2 sides have stuff the FED side does not get? o.o
Yes. There are reward packets for completing each story arc, from the beginning up to and including the Solanae Dyson Sphere arc. These also activate separate account-unlock rewards that can be claimed by non-Delta characters.
(These make up about one-third of the account rewards for the event)
If my memory is correct, there's about six or seven arcs that are exclusive to each of the three factions, or are available to two but not the third.
So in order to earn ALL possible rewards from the event, you would need to play three recruits, one of each of the three factions.
There is a lot of overlap. I think I worked out during the original DR run, to get the most out of the different faction rewards, I made a Fed-Rom and a KDF and only miss out on one of the rewards for the early Fed missions.
That said those mission rewards aren't great, so you lose very little by only doing one faction. I think they are just 1000 dil and 100 marks.
32nd century Federation: *deep breath* You temporal violators are so going to the Earth location formerly known as Brazilian territory...
32nd century Federation's Public enemy No.1 seems to be Jean-Luc Picard seeing as he already declared war on them, however they can't capture him since he is protected by his accomplice Q.
If Cryptic isn't handing-out another free character slot with this rerun, I don't think they will since they haven't with other reruns, they'd do players & probably themselves a benefit of concurrently running an Items/Services sale during this Delta Recruitment Event rerun to entice players to have 1-3 toons for full optimization. That is if 1 of each faction (Fed, KDF, & Rom) will still be required for full optimization of the earned perks.
These are always fun. I'm enjoying the Klingon Recruit Event right now. Delighted players who joined the game after I did will get the opportunity to create a Delta Recruit. Mine is a Starfleet Andorian Science Captain who is always enjoyable to work with. Pleased to see there are some revamps and new stuff for the old sweats as well.
Well done, Cryptic! Every time I get aggravated with you over something, you go and do something like this and hit me square in the feels.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
