I have not done one of those in a long time but while doing DOFFing at around 10 PM EST near ESD I have crashed at least two or three times and one other time getting ready to do the Lore Mission at Starfleet Academy. Another after that happened at a loading screen until I had no more issues. May the maintenance on Thursday fix this. I use CenturyLink and did not have problems on Monday. Thanks. :)

Edit: I think part of the problem is Lighting 2.0 causing the issues so I decided to revert back to Lighting 1.0. Lighting 2.0 tends to cause me issues in space and with the DOFF system.

Not to alarm you cryptic, But I've been sitting here, looking at my character select screen just waiting for the first character to even load, so I can hit play for 20 minutes.

Oh wait, it just let me hit play. Loading loading loading... Time out to server.

    C'mon guys.

I had this problem last night. I checked Windows Update to see if there were any updates being worked on in the background and there were. Sometimes when this lag happens it is because there is an update coming through but not always. It was bad for me last night but I pressed on, I will try tonight since now I have gotten the update and will install it tonight after I turn the computer off.

I hope it works out for ya @sthe91 Alas, no win update for me, and I've even went so far, as to unplug the router, and put the ISP directly into this PC.

IT seems like from the hours of about 7:30 to 10:00 at night, I struggle a huge amount with this game.

After midnight it's golden, and shoot, my ISP @Link, just did a huge update to their hardware, and anything else is as smooth as butter. I mean ESO even works LOL. That game gave me huge headaches in the past, but runs like a charm now.

Meh, Don't even get me started on Akema. (sp) I think that's what the routing service is called.

I've been having the same problem all week. Server Not Responding, then disconnect, then relog into the game and the "Respawn" button is showing, as though I was killed, it disappears before I click on Respawn. This happens many times per day. Six(6) times today in less than 3 hours of play. This is getting old FAST!! Why do the devs keep adding content and ships to a broken game?!? How about do some bug fixes for a change and stop adding stuff?

Now 9 times in about 3 hours I've been disconnected from the server. I think it's time to BOYCOTT this broken game until they do some significant bug fixes. This is ridiculous!! GAME OVER!!

I have the same problem. So I play this game for several years as LTS. I have no hope cryptic solve or fix this problem. Their way is this one: delteting what they are not able to fix. Terraform tfo is an example. In this case, they can't delete the game. Thanks god...

Don't be so quick to judge and to point the blame at Cryptic. Your internet connection could be the cause too.

Easy answer from someone who doesn't meet this problem. It's typical IT support answer when they are not willing to solve problem. It's never their own fault but the user's fault. Check your internet connection, Check your internet provider. Buy an sssd it would be faster. Buy expensive grapfic card. Buy more RAM. Remove the player and put a new one. Blatering from the stupid mind. In 2021, there is still people to think it's not cryptic's fault. Seriously!
