A few things here. First just because your personal pet bug hasn't been addressed yet, or hasn't been addressed in a way you like does NOT mean the game is ending. The game has been "dying" since it launched. I know folks don't like to hear this, but fixing bugs takes time. It's not just flipping switches as folks like to think it is. To fix bugs properly takes time to identify the problem, then formulating the fix. As GI Joe used to say "knowing is half the battle." With computers and coding a single one or zero out of place in the code could bring the entire thing crashing down. Bugs are also going to get fixed according to the severity of the break associated with the bug. A bug causing a severe crashing issue will always have priority over a bug in the tailor or similar. In order to fix a bug, it must be able to be reproduced consistently to know what is broken. I wish it was as simple as people like to make it out to be and one only needed to flip a switch but sadly it's not. Bugs do get fixed, it just takes time to do it right. Also folks need to realize you will NEVER have a 100% bug free game no matter what you do. All you can do is try to limit the amount of them and their effects.
With all that said, if folks can reproduce those bugs consistently and get video/photos of them or provide clear instructions to reproduce it consistently, this will allow those bugs to be fixed.

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

I don't like that the title of the thread uses a phrase that holds a lot of meaning for some people in a flippant way.
I agree. I know it was a joke, and l'm confident that the OP didn't mean to hurt or offend anyone. But this is a Star Trek game, and a lot of us are Star Trek fans that buy into Star Trek's ideals of certain peoples not being treated worse than others. BLM shouldn't be a joking matter.
i've been hearing that a lot, but i got through it just fine last night - what exactly is broken about it?
Oh, I think the Klingon recruit is immune to it for some reason which may be why you could get through it.
The first big battle in the embassy never progresses afterwards. The amount of the episode you have to go through to get that far is why it's bothersome.
Lol, The title of this thread is "BUG LIVES MATTER" I just have one thing to say:
Not to This girl they don't - Especially if they have 8 legs!! I'm scared to my death of irachnids. Anybody who doesn't agree with me hasn't seen a Camel Spider! Dam scariest thing I ever saw.
So!, Unless it's a pretty butterfly or moth, i say "BUG LIVES DO MATTER!!" And I'll squish em or shoot em whichever is appropriate especially if they have 8 legs, lol
(NOTE: Intended for humerous purposes only, lol)
Camel spiders, eh? Sounds like our dear old Uncle Sam sent you to play in the sandbox once or twice. I'm glad you made it home
I have only been back for a very short time and the amount of in game bugs that I have found that have been around since forever ago (like before the forums were moved) are still here!
Wow...I know there are other priority bugs and all, but these bugs still existing doesn't give me much hope at all for the stability of this game. It's almost like the Devs have just given up and it feels like the players are just waiting for the next big Star Trek MMO to come along.
I mean, we still have the random personnel on your bridge when it should be your BOffs there instead, even when you have a full roster of BOffs.
You still have the BOffs sitting way far away from the actual chair they are supposed to be sitting in.
You still spawn within the collision mechanics of the planets and have to instant travel to get out.
You have panels on the bridge that should be lit up but are just blank spaces.
In the Delta Quadrant mission where you have to use a zip line, it still bugs out and is still stuck in your hands and is zipping even when running.
Of course we still have the bugged out sound effects or the engine room.
When warping out from systems it still sometimes bugs out and your ship doesn't warp but rather moves in slow motion...that one actually got worse.
You still have to click on customize ship twice if you want to start with the version you already have without it reverting back to the default version.
All of those bugs were around when last I played and have been around for many years. Would I do best to just let it go and stop worrying about it? Has the game really went downhill that much? Should I just enjoy it while I still can and let it go?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Most of these are cosmetic, and the one exception just requires that you warp. Nothing game-breaking here, so who cares. If I'm going to complain about bugs, I save my kvetching for things that actually interfere with play.
I kind of like that warp-out "bug". It's like the beauty pass the Enterprise used to do at the end of a TOS episode, while departing the Planet of the Week.

I'm actually quite fond of spiders. But I am a dark kind of person who is in to things like that, lol. Love the post by-the-way.
Oh I have a dark sense of humor myself, lol. But any humor brightens my day and I thought I'd share a lil that was based on my true story. I do love pretty moths and butterflies tho. Praying Mantises too however 8 legged anything does scare the hell out of me especially one's that are 11" to a foot in circumference! They made me a better shot tho!, lol.
Any other bugs I encounter aren't game-breaking so I don't complain about them every time a patch goes out. I enjoy the game and that's good enough for me.
They may not be "game breaking" as you say, (although that is completely subjective, I'm sure role-players would disagree with you on that one) but they do scream volumes as to the state of the game, especially when these bugs have existed for multiple years dating back almost as far back as the first year of the game. Not only does it scream volumes to players who have been here since the beginning (I myself Beta Tested this game) but it also screams volumes to players who are returning...or even worse, trying the game out for the first time.
The game is already struggling, and these types of bugs don't help. The game has even earned itself a spot in "The Death of a Game" series and is most likely on its last legs. So even though as a player, it is easier to just blow it off as no big deal, that doesn't do much for players as a whole and does even less for the health of the game...if it can even be saved at all at this point.
Hogwash! So did SWTOR back in 2019 but it's still going strong. And I was both Alpha & Beta tester for SWTOR. STO is my Favorite game of the two tho. The You Tube person who runs the site you mention only makes assumptions about games that have been around a while or have bad reviews.

well, today's patch notes have it listed as being fixed, so here's hoping it actually will be for everyone who had trouble with it

For a good laugh, have your ship in reverse before the end dialog box comes up. See what happens.

Secondly, I wanted to warn people that Khitomer Discord is currently broken and those are the bugs that should be focused on.
