To those of you who have it, had it, and /or currently flying it...
1. Is it available as a buy option on the exchange? (Currently on phone so can't check) I know it's in mudd's market.
2. Are the console and the trait good? Good and bad about them.
Any other input appreciated.

I've set one up for disruptors to use for disruptor damage endeavors on one account and it does really well with it.
Console is entertaining but not that powerful, and fire damage is pretty rare, so it being and buffing that doesn't help much in the damage department. The Maw Of Gre'thor Trait, also entertaining, particularly in combination with the above console, still isn't that great of a performer.
All in all, there are a fair number of ships more powerful for less Zen, though none of them are literally on fire. There might be another Fek'Iri ship for this years Winter Event, so maybe wait for that instead.
Of all the former Event ships, I'd only consider the Bajoran Interceptor a must have for it's console (though, that'd be single-char unlock from the Phoenix box currently), and maybe the Breen Plesh Tral Heavy Raider if you're using Aux2Bat for it's trait Cold-Hearted. Most others are OK performers, but not worth the high cost from Mudds or Phoenix, and the cost is probably still a bit too much on average for single char unlocks of the Bajoran and Breen ships I mentioned.
your a bit off on some of this, the ship itself has bursts of fire damage coming out the ship, also the trait gives you a burst behind you for quite a bit of distance also fire damage. so once you have the T5 trait unlocked and pull them to the ship. it shreds NPC ships pretty quickly. However beyond that if you put the console in other ships i have used it in the current TFO to drag Dilithium ships away from the Outposts so instead of the outpost taking the hit... I do and I survive most the time

It's a pretty amusing way to keep the probes busy in ISA or just to bust out in any large group of ships you can fly through, assuming you can tank the inevitable damage they'll throw at you.

Yup and if you do harder missions rankings you get huge ramming effects from the ship too. And from running Future Proof missions the second missions set is impressive for shields and getting pretty "Tanky" its probably one of the best story missions I have done for gear that is OP imo.

Trait can do acceptable damage, but keeping things directly behind you for the sporadic bursts is.. awkward(the cone is fairly narrow so you have to keep very straight and it's easy to move too far away at the speed required to proc it). I use it on my 'fire dragon' Acheros, but the cumbersome usage and middling damage really isn't impressive enough to justify the trait slot beyond fluff reasons.
Ship itself is an old-style 4/4 Warship layout. The Temporal Warships with their 5/3 weapon layouts are better/more useful for most situations(they also have a nice console/trait). It's not bad, but probably would have been more interesting with a 3/5 layout to synergize and stand out.
That's a Myth, I have the ship F-art fire from other ships I own when the trait is slotted....
Edit: I Could grind out the ship trait on my new 65, I no longer have the character who had the trait, would only take me a couple hours to do maybe 4 at most. I can post pics in other ships. Just let me know.

Ah i see what your saying, No not on another character how it works is you have the ship you claim it grind out the ship on another character... you have to do this with like 90% of ships anyhow. but here is a tip. Go to Patrols, do 9th Rule of Acquisition. its easy takes ten minutes and is repeatable every 15 minutes. but you asked if you could Put the trait in other ships if you 'Have" the trait to which the answer is Yes. your question is actually in two parts if i look at it. first being you said you can only use it on 'This Ship" False. and i cant equip it on another toon... False too but needs to be grinded out.

Now the event ship is reclaimable, but I don’t remember if the Mudd version is or not. The initial blog (unsurprisingly) was not helpful on that question either.

Thanks for confirming and explaining it very clearly!
Except one thing you forgot, it can be upgraded to T6-X which means its 5/4

Uh.. what? I thougth T6-X gets additional universal console, device and trait slot, not the weapon slot?
I bought the Walker class it was 4/4 then upgraded it to a T6X now its 5/4 /shrug

I've got my through the event 2 years ago and made an average antiprotobuild on my KDF Tac Toon. From the stats it is a solid warship, but i didn't like the look of it very much. From time to time i drag it out of the hanger and fly some TFO's. It still kicks tribbels out of space.
I've have attached a short vid if you like to took a closer look on it.

Combined with other consoles and traits that boost defense and damage in the rear arc it can be even better. And there is the odd chance of amusing stunts like an escort dragging that named Tarantula from the Tholian red alert though a bunch of gravity wells and other singularities while slow roasting it. It can be a fun ship and the 4/4 layout can be taken advantage of with with the right mix of weapons (too many possibilities to list), but on the other hand it is not a must-get either.
It would be nice if they did an event campaign that had a token with the option of getting a single Mudd ship (I would really like the Benthan cruiser, it is one of very few VOY ships that I actually like) but alas that is probably never going to happen so waiting on a better than average sale is probably the best bet if you really want to get it.
