With the release of the Legendary Mirror Bundle and the Mirror Warship, I've been thinking that a mini faction where you start in the mirror universe as an ensign with the Terrans would be a blast. Just some fun thoughts I've come up with:
Admiral Leeta could be the primary mission contact.
Maybe you gain command over your ship by assassinating your captain for being too weak or plotting with a rebellion (similar to the Klingon tutorial).
All the ship models are in the game already, so a one ship per level up (though that's not even really a thing anymore) should be easy enough.
Maybe a story arc dealing with conquering and oppressing an NPC race?
As for end game, maybe we're forced to enter the prime universe under cover, like Lorca?
I know it won't happen, but I thought it would be pretty fun to think about, and maybe (for those of us in the US) get our minds off elections for a little bit.
We'll still have to deal with our Prime Counterparts, we can't have two versions of us running around ESD, the Feds will get suspicious and will eventually catch on to our ruse.
Also telekinetic abilities probably don't rely on holding an object and aiming it at another person. If you can sense it, you can nail it with your brain. Can't really say the same for shooting with a gun.
In Eris's case it was not just a think-to-fire thing, she formed a ball of telekinetic energy about the size of a golf ball between her hands, aimed it with her hands like she was aiming an amulet and kind of flicked it with her fingers. I am sure she had to see the target with either her eyes or passive sonar to hit it.
As for Loriss hitting Weyoun in the shoulder, I got the impression she was deliberately trying to disable rather than kill. Perhaps she was trying to avoid setting off whatever mechanism activates the next Weyoun.
Cryptic has already said they have no plans to do a Mirror Universe faction because negative player reaction to the Kobali, and the mission "Renegades Regret" have shown that most of the playerbase doesn't want to deal with the morally grey, or outright evil, scenarios one would encounter if playing a Mirror faction.
This is the same Cryptic that once said we'd never get an end-game Constitution.....
Never say never; if the price is right, it'll happen. I can't for one minute believe the playerbase (as a whole) is going to get that eaten up about a fictional grey area. We're playing as bloodthirsty Klingons and Jem Hadar already. What's a Terran?

We need a new Evil faction, The Klingons were supposed to be the badguys, but aside from some early KDF and DOFF missions we really don't do much evil.
I would support a grey area, maybe not a mirror universe faction but the factions need restructuring, Fed (TOS, TNG, DSC, ENT, LD) or just let us pick transporter effects. Same with Klingon and Romulans (TOS, ENT, DSC, TNG, LD) instead of having Agents of Yesterday, Gamma Recruit, Delta Recruit. Put that Transporter effect in the ZEN store for 75 or 100 ZEN
It can be restructured as Federation/Klingon/Independent where they can be expanded even further by making independent class (Romulan, Borg, Lukari, ect) the story would still play out the same, your a independent contractor tasked with helping out but trying to stay neutral (no content would be cut, no missions would be excluded) it would also allow a new option to offer diplomacy and allow cross faction teaming up, PvP with friends against Klingon vs Federation in real fights, recreate iconic scenes..
This SHOULD have been the end game of Star Trek Online, kicking other federation seems like a DS9 episode (oh no it's mirror me!! I have to push back the Terran Empire) in the cases of me like role-playing I have a Burnham but I will NEVER get to fight T'Kuvma cause STO says that isn't allowed
