I feel we need more device slots. What's the point of having ever more combat pets, devices, Tribbles and boosters if you can hardly use most of them?
Nope. The mega-events are self-contained.
I think the point is to choose the best devices for the situation. Me I never leave home without a full stack of Hypos, I don't bother with boosters, usually have one combat pet if I have one, and one Tribble (Crossfire or Triolic).

Sound like an elachi pistol mixed with the undine arm cannon.
The question for the Rewards here is, are they going to muck up the Non-combat Pet Reward and not actually be Account Wide, like the Phoenix Non-combat Pet from the First Contact Day (21 Day) Event?
Also, I'm not sure they know their own Red Alerts as it is theoretically possible to also fail the Borg and Tholian Red Alerts as well.

Hm, I preferred my Akira for this mission.
Emergency power to engines, a quickly recharging evasive maneuvres, attack pattern omega and high engine power levels made the mission doable.
Boring, but doable.
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
Cruisers aren't too bad either with FAW spam.
The only criticizm I have for this TFO is the sheer number of turrets around the map. But I guess it makes sense to defend those shipyards.
Might try my stealth bomber T'Liss at least once.

The two tips I have for new players to the event:
Each Generator is protected by 3 relays - kill those first. (Just follow the big energy beams flowing into the generators.)
Save your cooldowns during the final battle for when the big walker spawns and burn it down asap. (The infinite adds it spawns will disappear when you kill it.)
Sci ships with a heavy EPG build can absolutely trivialize the the Generators and final battle(Delayed Overload Cascade is particularly stupid due to the sheer quantity of spawns). Gunships, on the otherhand are useful for burning down the big walker at the end before everyone gets overwhelmed. (That final battle is one of the very few fights in the game that can, eventually, overwhelm my Durgath.. due to the ever-increasing disable-spam/stunlocking.)
True I guess. Just confused as to why they are replaying it so soon, especially with the current story....
Guess I'm not one to worry too much about very many things and haven't found very much to complain about. Except the visual spam during group content.
How convenient.
Well, in this case the event was already used so it is a legitimate complaint.
And as someone pointed out: storywise it makes no sense to focus on J'ula being our enemy again. Exactly the opposite has happened in the storyline.
Just because someone would find a way to complain about other things, doesn't mean that these complaints are not justified. It is a poor choice, judging by even just these two criteria.
Convenient because you only have to hate a decision of theirs that they have not made.
Their comment about Choice of Marks for this TFO for the Event being different from normal is not true. As this TFO has only ever been availible for Events, its always had Choice Marks.

Yeah I also preferred the patrols.
Not least because in most PUGs, players would just keep fighting the Lukara instead of taking out the bases. As if that helps anyone.
You read his post and went after him because of your vendetta against him. He said he has complained about Crystalline Catastrophe for years. Also, let's return to the topic of thread instead of punching som.
I read every post that I reply to. And I reply to him quite often so I know what I'm talking about.
Also, yes.
One week from now, actually.
I actually kind of like the turrets. It does make things more challenging. With a few speed boosts (emergency power to engines, attack pattern omega, increasing engine power levels, evasive manoeuvres), you can ignore them.
