Ship Remodels - Vesta?

We've all seen the payoffs from the STO 3D artists/modellers doing God's work with ship remodels. The Klingon ships look absolutely stunning, as does the new Akira model and all the revamps for classic Federation ships.
One ship stands out to me however...
The Vesta.
Granted, it isn't a "canon" design as it never appeared in any of the series or movies. However, it became quite popular from novels with the adventures of the U.S.S. Aventine under the command of Ezri Dax.
It was a solid favourite of mine for a long time in STO for my Starfleet Science character. However, looking back at it now it looks somewhat sad. On the lower end of the poly count, with textures that simply don't match with the newer additions. We've got cool modern designs fitting with the in-game Starfleet asthetic. However, I'd really love to see the classic "Vesta" class design with a new lick of paint and a few extra polygons.
Has there been any discussion here about such a refit, any rumours from the devs? I'd be over the moon if they did it!

I think you're right though, it does need a once-over just for detail. But the design is always going to stick out just because of what it is.

Agreed, I love many of the STO inspired designs however there's something rather unique; dare I say "alien" about the Vesta. Like they were trying something completely new and were prepared to do away with many current design conventions to get there.
If I had the talent and knowledge to do it, I'd offer to do it for free lol. Alas, I can't do anything like that so I'll have to hope the talented folks at Cryptic have something in the pipeline.

What could anyone hope to accomplish, trying to improve it?

It's decent, don't get me wrong. However if you look closely you can really tell it's an old model from the poly count, especially around the phaser arrays. Texture quality isn't as good either, bussard collectors are very plain when they should have a similar texture to the Sovreigns collectors, just in a smaller profile. We've been spoilt with the exceptional quality of the new remodels for "legendary" ship classes and the KDF warships that most other models look really dated.
If I remember correctly, there were some copyright issues with the Luna class. Hence why we never saw it, or dirivatives of it again.
Oh and T6 Nova please xD.

I think it is to help see make which Constitution is which. I'm fine with what the admiralty cards show.
Perhaps the "Unwanted Bundle", with the Nova, the Norway... now that i think about it.. every ship thats tart with a no.. gets shafted..
The Nova is honestly due for a quality pass at the very least. I think the stumbling block right now is that Cryptic hasn't done a single ship release outside of the Legendary Romulan T'Liss for some time now. Everything has mostly had equivelent ships for the other factions. I can understand not releasing a new Nova during the Discovery phase, but now that we've basically worked through the Discovery fleet...
Anyways... making a T6 Nova with the 25th Century asthetic is probably easy. Making equivelent KDF, Romulan, and maybe Jem'Hadar may be the stumbling block since they haven't done single Fed for quite some time. Last one I really remember was actually the Hestia.

How many times have they made a Fed ship without the other factions getting anything? It wouldn't be new if they just made a T6 Nova and others get nothing. Probably wont matter to much in the long run unless they go crazy and make it like a scout ship or give it some decent pilot seating. (Since Pilot has a few particle based powers to choose from)

The 10th Anniversary ship pack? The Freedom? The Mirror Engle? AoY ship pack?
Been plenty of stuff released before and after the Hestia where other factions got nothing.
I was specifically talking about SINGLE ship and C-Store. The Mirror Engle was lockbox. The Legendaries don't count because that was a bundle and cannot be bought individually. The AoY ships were part of a bundle, and were connected to the AoY expansion.
The Hestia had NONE of that fanfare. She was, as far as I am aware, the last solo ship release for Fed. Since then, its mostly been cross faction bundles. The closest we've had since the Hestia to a single ship, single faction release in the C-Store was the Legendary T'Liss.

Unlike multiple ships in the not-even-having-a-T6-department.
Everyone has their own favorites though, and while the new carriers are nice they are not actually T6 versions of the T5s as much they are new stablemates of the originals, so it will undoubtedly take quite a while for the devs to get around do doing the bulk of the T5s that need upgrades to T6 even assuming they do them instead of making entirely new ships to replace the old favorite T5s.
Not like they can do Water Polo related stuff because there really aren't any uniforms. We could just use existing swimsuits.
