Hm the Caitian carrier definitely looks better in that picture.
If it gets Shikaris frigates as pets, it will be tempting to buy it.
I don't really use species-specific ships because I'm a doctor Starfleet officer - not a member of the Caitian Navy or the Andorian Imperial Guard. But it may just be difficult to let this one pass if the stats are also good.
the klingon and romulan ones look good - at least in terms of having enough bulk to actually be carriers...the federation and dominion ones, however, don't really look like they have space for hangar bays - at least from the angle shown

I know they don't usually give secondary deflectors to carriers but I hope they do in this case, my first science toon and second toon in general is a Caitian they'd likely enjoy this Atrox upgrade.

The hangar bays are almost always a problem when it's about alien ship designs in the game: you never know where they are (assuming they even exist). Which is ironic since usually, Federation ships are the only ones displaying hangar bays, and not just for the canon ships.

To be fair, there are many Star Trek designs that do'n t make a whole lot of sense. It's not just limited to the carriers.
The Scimitar for example is just a really tiny ship with some huge wings. Which is true for most Romulan ships, I might add. Even worse, when looking at the D'Deridex, what I see is more a flying gap than a ship. The Odyssey somewhat suffers from the same problem.
Many newer Federation designs are basically flying nacelles with a little bit of hull attached to it.
Many ships are just oddly designed if you consider to what extent they (don't) maximise usable space (interiors).

Well... both the Atrox and the Jem'Hadar Vangaurd Carrier have very obvious hangers. The Atrox has them on the side with complete through hull hangers, and the JH carrier reminds me a bit of a combination of the TCS Tiger's Claw and a Venator Star Destroyer.
This might be more than a usual carrier and/or it has a console that spits out more Stalkers, as there seems to be more than 12 Stalkers plus at least one Shikaris (which is doing some sort of shield thing, which would be odd for a hangar craft, but might be seen on a Wingman).

The shield thing looks like the normal animations for Transfer Shield Strength when used on yourself.
Guess we'll find out more as we get closer to release.
They look great!
...
Which unfortunately means I'm gonna be disappointed by the stats and choice of specialization. It's always like that.

Well if we go by the history pretty much every c-store ship with a science bias has either had intel or temporal seating, since these are carriers my money would probably be in intel.
Finally be nice to get a T6 Voquv no matter what and hopefully they at least give it standard cloak
Romulan carrier is looking pretty nice too!

Must be nice to finally get something you've being hoping would come for a long time.
If there's to be a cross-faction pack involving the T6 Nova-class science vessel, I'd suggest the TNG Romulan science vessel that was a larger version of STO's Commander's Gig.
I guess Klingon and Dominion versions of this type of vessel would have be built up from the ground up. Maybe a Gorn design? Then again, Letheans seem to be the odd-guys out for the KDF allied species to not have representative starships available for players.

i am expecting it will be something other than intel or temp. i would like to see optional seating, or pick a flavor the player likes, and lock it in once picked.
however, most from what i have read and such are MW for sci stuff. i could be wrong, but thats what i have seen in the forums as far as what people say. i am not a fan of MW, and i will leave it at that.
ive not chosen one in any higher tier simply because i dislike the seating choice for what i want to use. yes, there have been discussions about this fits with that, yadda, yadda, but it doesnt fit me.
aside from this, which i will take a hard look at for specs, etc, there is but one in the bundle of 10 that i would enjoy flying, but i am not going to spend that amount of zen for one ship out of ten i will use and want.
so i am hoping that this carrier will be good enough to warrant the expenditure.
I don't know...I wouldn't hold my breath...the only Science heavy ships on the c-store to get something besides temporal or intel were both in the legendary ship pack...for regular ships them seem to insist intel or temporal.
Don't get me wrong it would be great if it got something else, just hard to get my hopes up with Cryptic's track record sometimes.

Honestly I feel we have more than enough gorn science ships, they really could use a tac or engi ship this time.
I guess Klingon ... would have be built up from the ground up.
No, because if you look at the picture, it should be clear what the klingon one is. A T6-Vo'q'uv. It matches perfectly.
And it had better be out for 3k zen, it's the only one I want.
I guess you can only hope, but again - lately it's been very much 'bundle or nothing'.
That's mostly Mudd ships though. The only other recent cross-faction bundle was the one with the temporal warship in it IIRC and players can still purchase the ships in that package separately.

Well considering they haven't given any of the Discovery Klingon ships a 25th century skin like the Fed ones, I doubt the reverse will happen either.

No. It's clearly the T6 Vo'q'uv.
Gotta admit, aside from the klingon one (which looks like I'd expect) these do look dead-sexy.
