What I really dislike though is that Boffs can't wear it. :/

    lol, seriously?

According to the ingame event description. I will not rule out I misunderstood something but to me it sounded like only for captains (aka player characters).

As others have mentioned, I was very surprised that the suit was not classified as an environmental suit. I would have expected it to be, based on its appearance in the show- would be very pleased to see it reclassified in game as such. Either way, pretty neat piece of ground armor and I look forward to playing around with it further.

Revive feature for ground. Add that to Mudd's Time Device (assuming it works at the time) and a ground pvp player can become almost invincible.

I'm still waiting for the become the wormhole alien god person thing event and make entire fleets disappear with some special new device either space or ground it will be glorious!

I do not post very often, but I have finally unlocked the suit ... and I'm rather disappointed.

First of all, I don't really care about the Disco stuff because I have not seen any of the show, and because I can't really take such 'old' enemies seriously in game ... then again there is a mission where we travel back to Archer's era and the Tholians of that time decide it is a good idea to attack the massively more advanced ships instead of turning tail and running so plenty of precedence game wise.

Secondly, while the Suit is cool looking, and the animations and the altering 'mode' are interesting mechanics ... but those same mechanics are also most certainly the reason the Boffs are not allowed to wear it ... probably couldn't make the game AI use it.

So this suit is limited to the captain only, and though that is disappointing ... but its change also changes up the action bar ... and does not reset it properly after it ends ... and activating it does not always set the bar with its powers either, and with the 'mode' only having a limited uptime rather then being a simple toggle so one cannot simply change ahead of time to correct the action bar and have it fixed for the duration of the mission.

As an moderately experienced player, the first thing I do when my powers are changed is to set up my bar how I like it. This is especially important because I use a spam bar for many of my abilities in both space and ground combat.

This makes the suit functionally unusable to me, as I cannot rely on it to have its powers set up right when it is used, and it messes up my bar after it is shut down.

I really hope that this is an issue that will be fixed at some point ... because as it is, I walk away from this event with a tailor unlock that I haven't even looked at yet in game, and a pretty cool set of combat armor ... that I cannot actually use.

This makes me feel like this entire event was nothing more than a waste of my time, which is sad because I always grind the events because I always have SOME sort of use for the gear even if it is only in certain situations. The Sompek lightning module, and the shield/weapon sets are a staple for my newer characters as they level for example, but this is the first time I have gotten absolutely nothing of use for my time other than cosmetics that I may not even like once I take a look at them.

I love this game. It is not the most well put together, but it works, even on low-mid range computers/internet connections. Thinking up new builds is a fun thought exercise to break up the monotony at work, Actually making those builds is also fun, my Borg Character and her assimilated Legendary T'liss with gear from the Borg Lockbox and Omega Rep is one of my favorite characters to play as even though she is not nearly as effective as my primary character.

But the biggest pull the game has for me is how it feeds my hording instinct ... and this event didn't as the only things worth hording are the things you have a use for.

45 seconds in combat and it goes offline for 2 minutes to recharge makes it USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Already deleted as worthless in its current condition.

This is a huge disappointment. The red angel outfit has it's own category and limited selection of customization options with other outfit pieces. Worst of all the suit isn't an EV suit but a gimmick suit. I'm kind of sorry I did this event. Wasn't really worth the time.

Revive feature for ground. Add that to Mudd's Time Device (assuming it works at the time) and a ground pvp player can become almost invincible.

The Red angel suit disables all kit modules and captain powers so no interaction with e.g. mudd's time device.
I was hoping to equip it on a boff, but as it is the suit is worthless to me. Maybe it will unlock the red angel costume for a boff.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I don't know if this would be the right place for my complaint, but after unlocking my clothes, I noticed that I am not receiving the "dilithium" bonus for doing the mission daily, it even indicates that I did it but I do not receive the amount that I should be getting it, I was disappointed to have "advanced" the unlock to get more dilithium

Dilithium Boxing was also a problem with the 2nd run of the Winter Event.

Hopefully they'll fix it for the next Dilithium reward event comes our way.

I'm a console player and I was looking forward to equip this suit to my boff. So base on the general reception of it, I am led to believe that the BOFF won't have access to the suit's features nor that it is not a EV suit? That's disappointing.

Looks pretty nice, the Red Angel suit. I gave it my own paint job though.

It does unlock the costume for your boffs and it's decent looking armour. And one of the earliest chances to get a helmet.

Where is this helmet? Or do you mean only during the 45 second active phase of the suit? I was hoping it had a helmet with an opaque faceplate option to stuff my horneytoad into instead of the vac suit it is in now.

Is it just me, or does activating the suit create a generic body type to replace the body type/style/sizing we create for our playable character? I purposefully exaggerated some body parts on a female toon, Walked away from the tailor, activated the suit, and the “proportions” were the same skinny female it was before...

Just curious if it’s just nitpicking on my part...

It is not just you :)

I have a tiny svelte Fesarian offshoot character, an Ithanite (essentially a stocky little person), numerous average sized ones, a very tall zaftig Orion, and a big burly she-hulk like Vulcanoid, and they all look exactly the same while the suit is in active mode.

The Helmet is in the head section of the Tailor. In the drop down menu at the very top. Might need to open the drop down menu and go the Red Angel Suit in the Uniform menu first.
