I have a TOS Science Officer who keeps drifting back to her T5-U Fleet Nova despite having and completing the Mastery on the Legendary Glenn and Warship Voyager because it's so much fun. Also a couple captains who have the T5-U Fleet Constellation because of the lack of a T6.
Kar'Fi is the only T5U I use on all KDF, every other toon is T6.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
I use the Kar'fi, the N'Kaam, and the Atrox, though currently almost all my captains are grinding traits for now, the only one of those three flying her main ship is the flying saucer (N'Kaam) jockey.
Since Grunt recently completed the Mastery in his Nandi-class, I've been thinking of shifting back to his old T5-U Risian luxury cruiser, RXS Latinum Princess. She did pretty well for herself, back in the day...
Vo'Quv, T5 variant cause I can't afford the T5U, yet.... I like using the BoPs.
Though I suppose it's also something of a hold over from back when I used to play 7 years ago and it was the only full sized carrier you could get without Zen.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
I have my main on my Lifer account who flies a Wells for fun. He also flies the Eternal and Nautilus. He's currently in the Nautilus, but I do put him back in his Wells when he decides he wants to fly it.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
I use several T5-U ships from time to time, but most prominent is the kitty carrier.
Also use the T5U nebula from time to time.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Narcine. Dyson science warbirds. Risian cruiser. Wells and warbird variant and temporal destroyer. Got a few others but mainly for their universal consoles.
I'd get the Dyson raptors too but will wait instead in case they make T6 variants.
Same with the Ning'Tao or Vo'quv, not wasting fleet ship modules and such to get T5-FU in case a normally priced T6 ones arrive with this year's focus on Klingons.
Atrox looks cool but is such a bad ship with zero redeeming features I refuse to ever use it again.
Burroughs flies the Jem'Hadar Dread carrier Sword of Barsoom, Drummond flies the Tholian Recluse Tarazed
On the Klingon side, the Vo'Quv and Fish Carrier still see action
My main Fed Sci Toon flies the T5-U Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer, Vesta Class, with all three Epic consoles from each class. A lot of fun to fly and very capable.
My KDF Sci still flies the T5U Fleet B’rel. Got the Kor for the trait on my other toons and the console, but until I get a fleet module for the Fleet T6 I’ll gladly stick with the old bird.

Once you get a rep to max the T6 fleet B'rel is worth it, one of my fave ships. Only the fleet Chargh is closer to my heart
After reading about all of these good ships which people still use. I'm thinking about bringing back my T5U Fed Multimission ships on my SciGuy. They were fun back in the day and they should be a little bit better with some of the gear which has come out since then.

Fleet Research Science Vessel Retrofit. When upgraded it has the four things a Sci vessel needs-
- Secondary Deflector Slot.
- Slots for five Science consoles
- Seat for a Commander Science BOFF
- Turn Rate sufficient to keep the nose pointed at the enemy. With Pilot as secondary spec, this thing turns in its own length.
I kitbashed it to use the Goldfish Bowl saucer, the slimmest hull, the straight nacelles, and I added the Medical vanity shield. It looks pretty sharp, in my opinion, and it's a nice little ship performance-wise.
In setting it up, I discovered that Very Cold In Space, the Sci skill from QWW, is very effective on a Parts Gens build, and it works well with the DOT built into the Deteriorating Secondary Deflector.

I have a character I made as a Starfleet doctor to use that ship but then I got distracted along the way and never picked it up. I still intend to get it eventually though unless they come out with a T6 version before then.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.
I also like the T5-U Voyager.
Losing faith in humanity, one person at a time.

With stargazer skin off course.

Nope. Went with the character Bob Newhart played on Big Bang Theory. My SciGuy is also My Delta Retread char.
