They are not interested in bringing it back till they can make the event work for the KDF too. When is that? No one knows for sure.
However, I would guess that they may be working on that with this year of the Klingon thing. So who knows, maybe later this year if we are lucky.

What Fox said.
The Devs have said that they want to have the Temporal Recruit event be more inclusive. We're a bit more likely to see another Delta or Gamma Recruit event, but if they can figure out how to make TOS Klingon stuff to tie into the Temporal Recruit, we may see a Temporal Recruit 2.0. If that happens I might also make another KDF toon myself for the hell of it.
I kind of wish they'd introduce another recruitment type that they haven't already done. But I know that resources are lacking these days. But I can dream.

There is a basis for a group/event that INCLUDES all species. The Aegis. Gary Seven was one of their agents. Also Cardassians, Romulans, Vulcans and others species were used to protect the galaxy and time. It was also common for a specialist to have a partner in the form of what ordinarily appeared to be a cat, though these "cats" could take on humanoid form. (I love the cats.) The Aegis were a mysterious group of highly-advanced aliens who lived on a hidden planet and attempted to safeguard the timeline and the fates of many races and cultures throughout the galaxy. It could be a almost "canon" boon for the game!
P.S. Please don't get on a "can't do it rant". Let's try to offer positive suggestions that could lead to something wonderful in game. Ultimately, it is the Dev's choice to do what they can for many reasons. Thank you, and I love this game!

I really don't see how Gama Recruit event is supposed to be "more inclusive" as it is not only a single faction it is also a single race so it is the least inclusive event in the game (that is why I skipped the Gamma rerun even though my old account does not have a Gamma Recruit at all). Delta would definitely be a good thing though and it is the most inclusive one of the three.
Still, AoY would be the greatest, and they could kludge it up for the other factions as a "spy" thing with just a little cutscene at the beginning explaining that the player character is a spy infiltrating Starfleet that was there and caught up in the temporal events. It could end by transporting the person to their faction hub instead of ESD with the usual suggestion that they get a modern uniform at the tailor, then pick up their new (faction appropriate) ship.
If they can get the voice actor for Daniels they could modify the current ending cutscene for each faction, or if not they could have someone else at the "current time" end do the explanations. Also, the non-Fed faction versions could have the Ranger destroyed and just people beamed up to Daniels ship if the devs do not want to duplicate the ship for the other factions.
The hardest faction to put in would be Dominion since they only have Jem'Hadar implemented so far and there are no Federation races a horneytoad could impersonate. Even that is not totally insurmountable though, one possibility could be that the player character is an experiment in creating a J'H who understands temporal matters better and could have some of the engrams of someone who was there inserted into their mental matrix when they were biomanufactured (it would be kind of like Quantum Leap since it would be a memory, the character would be J'H but the NPCs would see the human that was actually there). It would not be quite the person out of time thing that all the others would be, but it would work.
The Account Rewards for the Temporal Recruitment are the best.

Well... like the Romulans, the Jem'Hadar choose to ally with Fed or KDF, so they have full access to either side.
And I agree that Delta is the most inclusive because its Fed, KDF, AND Romulan.

And I say that because I don't see a way to tie Roms into the temporal recruit story. But maybe (hopefully) the devs are more imaginative than I.
