Game loads to Black Cryptic screen, then nothing.

Just stops. no white loading bar, nothing but the screen .

Task manager shows gameclient.exe (or something like that) has stopped responding.

I tried adding in the old d3compiler_42.dll and no luck with that either.

Ran the force verify, and nothing changes. any ideas good people?

    Did you turn off On-Demand Patching and then run Force Verify?

    I did the Force Verify, but didn't turn off On-Demand patching. I will try that out, so thanks Sthe91.

    Well I tried that, and no go. I then tried launching in Safe mode, and still no go.

    Not sure what else to try, so I am open to any suggestions friends.

    Try deleting just arc off your computer. When you get the pop up says remove all games and Arc. Click th one says save the game... Then go to program files find the star trek click on application send to desktop for a short cut.... Mine was doing the same thing before and after doing the verify TRIBBLE and deleting and reinstalling sever times I just deleted Arc off the computer and kept the game...Good Luck.
