i know, and i also know its one of the reasons why a certain bank system went offline, an update went wrong but instead of backing out and restoring the original service the engineer performing the update attempted to forward fix and completely screwed the service, suffice to say they lost their job.

I'm Canadian. We experience this a lot here, and not just with computers. However, when the job gets screwed over like that, it's always deemed to be nobody's fault so the ones having screwed over simply TRIBBLE over repeatedly and we get used to it.
