Star Trek Online will have unscheduled PC maintenance tomorrow, 7/3, at 7am PT. Estimated downtime is 2.5 hours. You can find the patch notes here:

    Thanks for the heads up. Might wanna brighten the text a bit, though. ;)

    why is the text so dark? it's barely readable, and my computer's brightness settings are higher than the average person's​​

    2.5 hours for 2 changes? and no fix for rubbing and laging?

    Yes, the text is too dark. This is what it looks like for me currently.

    For a minute I thought there were no patch notes when I checked it now..LOL..

    But yeah the rubber banding needs to be fixed..Yesterday was in the power board race just about to grab second place when I got kicked all the way back to the first jump on the final stretch..Not funny..

    Also some of the players on Risa were talking about the welcome to Risa thingy and half didn't even get it..Good to know that this patch addresses it..

    Indeed, something should be done about that. The last few days I have a lot of problems with that, and that on every map, both space and ground. I don't have that on other online games, so that it does not matter that it is the connection as is commonly said.

    I had bad rubberbanding yesterday morning, but it seemed to resolve itself by the evening when I was favor farming. I was glad of that. Hope the ones who are still experiencing it get it resolved as well.

    Ingame right now and it seems to be okay too.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    I had wicked rubberbanding after the servers came up as well, but it disappeared later in the afternoon. I did notice, the instances were capped at 50 right after downtime, but later in the day they were capped at 20, so that might have helped.

    50 vs 20 is likely the cause of alot of lag yesterday. I noticed a heavy lag for the first hour yesterday but it seemed to settle down within 3 hours.

    Rubber banding has always been a larger problem during the three annual events.

    For those who cannot see the patch notes, highlight them with the mouse so you can see them. This is not a proofreading error it is a setting error.

    Good idea with the highlight, i do that now with other stuff when its too dark ;)
