Server locks up in space combat.

I haven't been able to make it through a space battle without the game freezing with any of my characters since the last big patch.

client - options - Force verify. if no chane ...\Star Trek Online\Live\localdata ,i suggest deleting the Fxprefs and Gameprefs

OK, I finally found time to figure out how to try both of those things, and now the game locks up on a new, low-res, settings readjustment before character selection. I'm not particularly computer savvy. Any other suggestions?

Could Lighting 2.0 be causing you problems? I have it turned off and adjust my graphics accordingly.
