Query for devs: Voiceover

I, and a small group of friends, want to write a bit of code to allow the game to use the pre-recorded BOFF voiceover files included in the install folder at appropriate times.

They already say these lines during the tutorial, but once you leave the tutorial they mysteriously stop saying things like "Are you ready to go to warp, sir?" etc.

We'd like the developers' permission to write additional code and put it in the game files so that they will speak at the appropriate times.

We would also like to get their permission to distribute this bit of code to the general public. However this is optional - you don't have to give us permission to distribute.

That said, if you say no to the former, we understand. No means no - no permission, no monkeying around with the code.

First of all, this is not the right forum for this inquiry since this is not a topic connected to the Windows and General: PC, Network, and Other Technical Issues section of the forums. This would belong in maybe the Feedback section of the forums. Also, have you read the FCT (frequently created thread) thread? It might give you an answer to your request. Thanks.
