Take a break from the Disc stuff.. roll out a few Romulan and Jem'hadar ships first, than produce a t6 Hideki (suppose to be modeled as large as the defiant was.. would make a sick Escort) Sneak in a T6 Nova so Reyan can finally ascend into true happiness, produce a few c-store AOY themed KDF and Romulan ships.. than come back to Discovery

Didn't they already dump all the AOY KDF and RSE stuff into lockboxes?

I don't think we're getting Romulan content anytime soon. And, oddly, that's probably a good thing.
One of the few, earliest plot points released about the Picard show is that Picard has been affected personally by the destruction of Romulus. So I doubt Cryptic wants to chance making much new Romulan content and risk further separating themselves from the canon that's about to hit screens at the end of the year.
But if the Picard show really does feature the Romulans, the current push at catching up on Disco releases is going to be replaced by a big drop of Romulan content. But that's really going to depend on if the show just gives lip service to the destruction of Romulus as a plot setting, versus heavily featuring them.

"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

They dumped the canon ships into lockboxes yeah but they doesn't mean they can't just cryptic up some AOY themed designs like the proto dreads or like the Ranger/Gemini/Perseus

uhm.. I don't see it honestly, the story for STO has already taken a post destruction stance of Romulus.. the story has already progressed a fairly decent amount into Cryptics version of the Star Empire and Romulan Republic. Also there will be no 'big drop' of content for Romulans even if the Picard show features them.. there's what 2 ships and some cosmetics for Klingons with Discovery? It's mainly going to be Federation content one way or the other.

I don't know, I'm just going on the little bit of information that's available on the Picard show. And it sounds positive for the Romulans.
I wish I could find the article, but I believe I did read somewhere that the writers reached out to the major sources of Trek lore for the post-Nemesis period, including STO. I don't know how true that is, but if it is true then that explains why we're waiting.

I think we're waiting because the Federation stuff sells way better than the Romulan stuff. I'm just saying even if the Romulans are the only opposition for the Federation in the Picard show. Even if the Romulans are in EVERY episode of the show.. well just look at the Klingons and Discovery and how much Discovery Klingon content is in STO.. not a heck of a lot.. and there's TONS of Federation stuff. So I don't see some massive outpouring of Romulan content coming, could and will be some if they are in it a lot but yeah.
And like I said.. STO already has it's own storyline with the Romulans not like this show is going to change all of that suddenly, it's already going to be at odds with STO unless they decide to write the show to match the game
there's what 2 ships and some cosmetics for Klingons with Discovery? It's mainly going to be Federation content one way or the other.
Cryptic has repeatedly stated that pretty much all the Klingon ships seen in Discovery will be made playable, of which there are like 10-12, and they plan to do uniforms for each of the houses seen, which is like 5-6 house uniforms, on top of having playable Disco era Klingon costume parts.
This is just my perception but I feel that when it comes to non fed content it gets totted a lot that "cryptic has repeatedly stated this about X" and, if Cryptic made this non Fed stuff roll out there wouldn't be this constant need to say Cryptic has repeatedly stated this is coming or this will happen.. because it would be happening. It's like.. nobody has to come in here saying don't worry Federation ships are coming, or don't worry we'll get disc uniforms.. because we know and knew it's coming, we know it'll happen. I have no doubt this Cardenas will come out at some point.
It's what feeds the whole I'll believe it when I see it mentality that's hit the forums because it just feels like for a while now

Well... with the Buran pretty much front and center, I think it might be safe to say that the Cardenas is next on the release schedule. Now the question is... which Klingon ship will be paired with her?

I'm far too biased to have any "hopeful" candidate, as I personally think all of the new Klingon designs are absolutely hideous to say the least. That said, I would suspect the Veqlargh-class to be coming up next, and it's certainly the best looking of the monstrosities in my opinion. I still think it is ugly as hell, but if it had been the showrunner for the Klingons in (acronym for Discovery that is hilariously blocked by profanity filters), I could have accepted it as a suitably ancient, "ceremonial/religious" type of vessel. Something designed and used by the order of Kahless monks, for instance. It has the vague profile of a traditionally Klingon vessel, while being strange and unique. I could have accepted it if the story behind her weren't a poorly written nightmare.
Any idea what class of ship it'll be?
One would assume cruiser, given the general configuration of the hull, but the Disco-era ship lineup so far lacks an affordable Science vessel (with the Crossfield being a lockbox ship, not really accessible to most of the playerbase).

in (acronym for Discovery that is hilariously blocked by profanity filters)...
Actually the official Acronym is DSC. No other Trek show uses ST in the Acronym. Not TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, or ENT. Why should Discovery be any different? Also it was used quite a bit as a derogatory acronym by people who hated on it rather vocally, hence the censor.
Back on topic, I would expect her to be along the lines of a cruiser. But a Science Vessel is also possible. She's just too big to be an escort, and we did just have the Magee as well that was released as an Escort.

(Preface: Not an argument, just a continuation of the dialogue.)
I'm aware, and I wasn't suggesting my usage was the official acronym, simply an acronym for it. I probably don't have to mention it since I think I laid my opinion of the show of rather plainly, but I did specifically choose it due to my views on the show. All rather besides the point, but I did want to address the bolded portion of your post "hence the censor". I would certainly hope those three letters are censored due to the significance of the first letter, rather than because it is an acronym used by those that dislike (even outright hate) Discovery. If the intent was to censor opinion - which again I doubt it is - but if it were, then we are treading very treacherous waters indeed. No one benefits from the censoring of opinions, least of all over the television show. To quote a captain most of us here probably love:
""With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably." Those words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie as wisdom and warning. The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged." - Jean-Luc Picard
To carry on with the ships, I think you're probably right with your initial expectation. The Buran, at least depicted in the TFO is certainly taking the role of the frontline pseudo-flagship, and fairly blatantly "tanking" for the rest of the fleet, to use our gaming language. Likewise with the Veqlargh-class on the Klingon side (I forget the name of the Klingon captain's ship). Lorca was definitely a frontline kind of guy when it came to battle, such as when the threw the Discovery in the path of two torpedoes in an attempt to shield the Gagarin. So, my guess is that they'll end up being tactically-bent cruisers and we'll end up getting the DaSpu-class and Hoover-class ships as our science vessels.
Let's keep it civil folks. If there is moderation to be done it will be taken care of by myself or one of my cohorts.
"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again." - Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek Generations
This is a.... very strange way to announce the starship.
It's S31, what do you expect?
Call me a little confused, but other than the somewhat ominous nature of the clip, what about it indicates it's a S31 event?
Not taking a stance here, I'm legitimately asking. Nothing about the vid really says anything other than "here's a ship!".
And I've watched it very carefully.
