Take a break from the Disc stuff.. roll out a few Romulan and Jem'hadar ships first, than produce a t6 Hideki (suppose to be modeled as large as the defiant was.. would make a sick Escort) Sneak in a T6 Nova so Reyan can finally ascend into true happiness, produce a few c-store AOY themed KDF and Romulan ships.. than come back to Discovery
I don't think we're getting Romulan content anytime soon. And, oddly, that's probably a good thing.
One of the few, earliest plot points released about the Picard show is that Picard has been affected personally by the destruction of Romulus. So I doubt Cryptic wants to chance making much new Romulan content and risk further separating themselves from the canon that's about to hit screens at the end of the year.
But if the Picard show really does feature the Romulans, the current push at catching up on Disco releases is going to be replaced by a big drop of Romulan content. But that's really going to depend on if the show just gives lip service to the destruction of Romulus as a plot setting, versus heavily featuring them.
But how does giving the Romulans and Jem'Hadar a few new ships affect that? It doesn't....all jag asked for was some ships not new story and lore. We all know that the RR and JH aren't going to get any new lore, just want some new ships.
If the Picard series dives into Romulans it will likely just be on the Romulan Empire side of things and have little effect on the Romulan Republic side I imagine. After all it is the past of STO, will probably just explore it like the (Insert name here) of Discovery, content we've been getting.
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
But, because you've all been pestering them about this ship, it will be a non-upgradable T5 instead. So there.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno man, really wonder why I ever bothered, anytime you bring up something about non-fed ships it's like the Feds n white knights froth at the mouth screaming why Cryptic can't possibly release a new ship. Over on reddit after pointing out how there's been a bunch of non-fed and current age ships I was told well theres no Roms in Disc so thats why... like STO only takes place in Discovery or how they can't possibly put out a current age Rom ship because CBS told them they can't do what they want with Romulans anymore once again blaming that danged CBS monster that comes up so often.
As the Cardenas/Buran release has been officially teased/announced, this request thread is no longer necessary. /Thread

It was the Buran, i saw it on slow motion, i'm waiting for the new skin, that ship is a must-have!
I imagine when the S31 series debuts, it might prompt the devs to make some fresh S31-themed content.

The writing though was pretty well done to me.
