Returning Player with a couple of questions.

I have returned to the game after a two year break because of bad internet service. I have two questions. First, where do I find the monthly subscription? When I go to the subscription tab I only see the lifetime. Second, I read that you ship now levels with you from level 1. How do you get that to work? So far I can't seem to get it to work or is it a feature that is coming soon? If so where can I find out more information on how it will work? Thanks in advance for the answers.

There is no monthly subscription anymore.

Only some recently-released ships level right now. The feature is going to come to all T6 ships later. You can read how it works with the new lockbox ships here:

Basically means you can use a T6 from the beginning, but some of the slots are locked and HP reduced until you level up.

Seriously, no monthly sub anymore. That sucks. So its only t6 ships that will level and only the two tholian ships right now. So no leveling for my Miranda class or my Constitution class. Thanks for the info, guess I'll have to save for a lifetime sub.

The Tholian ones are just the most recent. The T'Pau science scout from the winter event, several Walker variants, and a few others (mostly DSC ships) level so far (the experimental Walker from one of the Discovery starter packs levels from 1-4 but they have a new one that goes to T6 in some other package).

I wish they would take the current T5s and expand them to leveling ships too, bit it does not sound like they will be doing that any time soon, if ever.

or just make all ships T6 and let us Level to cap in any ship we want... that would be pretty Sweet imo....

The shran/magee pilot escorts, experimental walker light cruiser, and gagarin miracle worker battlecruiser all level with you as well, and those can all be purchased from the store right now.
