I really just want to know whether I willl be able to buy, and put the bridge/interior pack on my existing Crossfield. You'd think the latter will be the case, but they screwed us on the new Jem'Hadar bridge too (in that it wasn't ported to existing Jem ships, like my JHSS).

Given that right now, the Walker bridge and the Walker interior are DEFAULT on the DSC starter ship on Tribble, I would bet you get it for free.
Your pain runs deep.
Let us explore it... together. Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. Share your pain with me... and gain strength from the sharing.

I just realized the new Jem interior was DEFAULT on the starter bug ship too. Didn't mean it got auto-transferred to my JHSS too (in fact, it didn't).
Let's just say I'm going to be a mite upset when it turns put I won't be able to (buy and) put thew TRIBBLE interior on my current Crossfield. Or that it will only be available on new AoD toon ships.

Okay, just went to Tribble, got some good news and some bad news. The good news is, that the CROSSFIELD bridge is now the default on my Spearhead ship. The bad news is, that it's not a full interior. But very pretty nonetheless.
Also, rather buggy. btw. Game asked me to select my away team to accompany me. Wut?! So I did. And, much like happened to Riker, in a freak transporter accident, I had duplicate boffs on my bridge! (The ones in the station half-overlapped with my away team).

I'm guessing they've not fully done the "this is a starship bridge" work and the game is treating it as standard ground map (hence the away team), if you choose a bridge map in the foundry it'll treat it as standard ground map as well so it's not something inherent to the map file.
I wonder if they will have a DSC Transporter affect
The AoD characters will have new Transporter effects kind of a mix between the TOS and TNG effect based on what was shown in the "Ten Forward Weekly" stream, but warp and transporter effects are tied to the characters and will not change based on what ship you use.

I just looked and noticed that all the doors were missing. there's four spots with doorframes that you can't walk through which led into empty space.
I'm really hoping the Nimitz class is made available. It's my favorite of the DSC ships.
Would you see it as a cruiser, an escort, or a battlecruiser?
I would assume Nimitz is a cruiser. It's one of the larger ships of the DSC-era we've seen so far. Plus it was the flagship of that admiral, flahships tend to be cruisers in Star Trek. Though it being made an escort wouldn't surprise me either.
Dear Cryptic,
C-Store Disco Connie please.
I seriously doubt the DSC Enterprise will be it's own ship, it'll probably just be a skin for the T6 Connie.

Its possible that the entire interior is not implimented yet. Or the Crossfield interior is going to be seperate since an earlier blog did name drop the USS Glenn, another Crossfield class.
I'd love a four pack of the bortaS bir, Qaw', Qoj, and Veqlargh classes. They're bloody beautiful, especially the Qoj.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

The Nimitz is mid range, not large. It's smaller than 6 of the other ships (including the DSC Conni) there's only two ships (Malachowski and Magee) it's significantly larger than and one (Hoover) it's slightly larger than.

As-is on Tribble the Crossfield bridge is definitely incomplete. There are literally holes in the walls. One of these holes seems to be the location of a turbolift since I hear a door open sound every time I stand there.
We already have a Discovery Ship Pack, it's called the Infinity Lockbox, which is supplemented by a Lobi Store Ship. You want more? Greedy people. You'll have to wait until the Year of Pike Lockbox is released.

The ships of TRIBBLE are more or less the only thing I look forward too.
I don‘ t care much for TRIBBLE itself. No hate or anything just no interest. What I have seen of the show is too much focused on Burnham and I think it is a horrible character.
It will be interesting to see if we get a full line of ships for the new TRIBBLE captains or only C-Store ships similar to ViL.
I guess it will be the later one because money...
None of the TRIBBLE ships I am aware of strike me as an escort in particular.
Depending on the size maybe the Engle and Magee class?
Hoover class could either be a light cruiser, science vessel or escort. It has design cues from the Miranda class and/or Nebula class. I tend to guess science vessel for that one because the already shown Malachowski class, which will be the starter ship for TRIBBLE captains, will most likely fill the light cruiser role and we already have the Walker class in the same category and I assume the Constitution will be too similar to the Temporal Light Cruiser.
The Nimitz and Cardenas class strike me as your typical cruiser.
That leaves the Shepard class which is actually pretty big. Length should be about 500 meters, of course a good chunk of that is useless nacelles similar to the Crossfield. Currently I would guess it would look good as a science vessel
I really hope the TRIBBLE Constitution class will be C-Store as the other T6 Constitutions are already behind a gamble-pay-wall.
Easier access for the third ship of the class would be fair I think.
The ships I like the most visually are the Nimitz and Cardenas class.
Nimitz is pretty compact. Smaller than a Walker class actually (about 384 meters in length). I really like the (I assume) bridge in the middle of this reverse wing structure between the top nacelles.
And the Cardenas looks like a streamlined and sleeker version of the Constellation class. The Bridge right at the front makes it pretty unique and look like a certain ship from Star Citizen.

If you're just measuring length, then yes, you're right. However, the Nimitz is taller than most of the others, and its nacelles aren't as far back.
I wonder if at some point we'll get to see what the Terrans did to the Defiant after 100 years of turning her into a warship.
I seriously doubt that the Terrans did anything to the Defiant in that image since there is no reason why the Terran Empire would keep it as the USS Defiant and use the same registry number if it is seeing action as a warship. So that is Discovery's take on what the USS Defiant looked like when it went to the 22nd Century instead of how it looked in TOS and Enterprise. Now it is likely that it was changed into the ISS Defiant and has been heavily modified.
The USS Defiant look in that wireframe image might be a preview of what the USS Enterprise looks like in about 10 years since the USS Enterprise and USS Defiant are both Constitution class ships.

Most of the height is the rollbar. And the saucer is more sloped than some others leading to reduced volume.

I don't buy it. You have an advanced ship for 100 years, and you don't try and put more guns on it or anything?
You seriously expect a power like the Terran Empire to not do anything at all with a more advanced starship... for 100 years?
Don't buy it.
Yes they are both Connies, but they don't have much in common with each other anymore other than base design. The Nacelle Pylons have been altered and reinforced, maybe even adding a Miranda style emitter in that joint. The Nacelles themselves look like they've been rotated 90 degrees. The unexplained cutout portions on the saucer...
The Terrans tweaked her man. And have done so for 100 years at least. Honestly the only thing I don't think was messed with was the Secondary Hull and Impulse Deck.
