Mute function been broken for over a year.

So the mute function is grayed out.

Also reporting the person doesn't mute them this has been broken for a very long time.

So I report him. U can see the mute is blacked out.

And at end of video you see him posting again.

Unfortunately, there's no mute for text zone chat. The mute function is for team voice chat only. If you were on a team in PvE, for example, and someone was playing music in the background, eating chips, yelling at their kids, sharing body function noises, etc., the mute function works fine to silence all that.

You can, however, turn off/on zone chat in your settings. I've had to do that at times in public areas when people start unnecessary arguments that I don't really need or want to see.

Yea but if you report someone doesn't that mute them?

Not in my experience. They only seem to go silent after their account has been banned (but they soon make a new account and post the same spam under a different name).

Thing is though. I've asked around. And people say they can mute people..
