Suddenly... I can't connect to the patch server any more!

I was playing this morning and the game stopped responding. I tried to back out and restart... No Go! I shut down my system and rebooted my modem/router and still a NO GO!

So I looked at the pinned discussion and did a Tracert to cryptic studios... Basically in 5 hops I make it from Albuquerque NM to Los Angeles CA, then it hits something called "...atlas.cogentco.com" and gets completely lost in 'rabbit hole' (it takes 7 hops to start to time out completely - then it attempts to take another 13 hops). Nettest will not run it can't connect. Pathping does the same thing as Tracert, it hits '...atlas.cogentcom.com' and dies a slow painful death.

My ISP is Comcast. As I said I live in Albuquerque NM. I've been playing daily for the last few weeks until this morning. So something happened that is out of my control. Any help would be appreciated.

Same issue. Also same ISP. Perhaps that's the issue?

I'm getting a similar issue on PS4 right now, where it just keeps spinning on the connecting to account server window.

OK so I switched over to Google DNS (since I thought it might be related to Comcast's DNS settings). That did not do a thing. So this clearly is NOT something I can fix on my end!

Should have added that I'm on the US West Coast. Perhaps this is a regional issue. Could people who have this issue post their ISP and what region they're in, as well?

Problem seems to have resolved itself for the moment.

Edit: Spoke too soon. It's out again.

I'm not having this issue at the moment at least, that said as far as I know Playstation and X-Box use you normal ISP instead of having their own. I wonder it's an issue with Comcast or its European associates, though it could been issues with Cryptic's ISP too and that's to how those are done in US might not be something Cryptic can do anything about.
